Why didnt Anderson kill that retarded excuse for a character when he had the chance?
He put Anderson in a moral, Mass Effect-like dilemma, capture Leng or have the kid Nick Donahue bleed out by Leng's gunshot to the stomach. Anderson chose saving Nick.
He still shot Leng in the legs after he took off though.
havn't checked to see if you have been corrected yet or not but it was Grayson who shot nick not Leng

Hmmm should I shove the Cain up his ass and pull the trigger or get up into his face with the Mattock? Decisions, decisions.
Going for the romance option then?

an N7, human Spectre who took out not 1, but 2 reapers, one of which was on foot, or a mercenary assassin on TiM's payroll?
thems r steep odds.
Kai Leng was an N7 also, before he joined Cerberus, so I hope this becomes an all out brawl between the two of them.
That is....until Shep puts his boot up his ass.

Looks like someone wants to commit Suicide By Shepard...
Exactly what I was thinking. It's a stylish way to go, I'll give him that. I can see Shepard being so popular among the suicidal Mooks, and them boasting, I was shot by Commander himself, and not by some random Alliance guy!
Or were those TIM's orders, and Leng had to obey? Does that mean that TIM wants to get rid of Leng so badly? Or maybe he wants to get rid both of Leng and Shepard, and he can't decide which one of them he wants to be gone most, so he pits two of his assets against each other? I hope TIM bet his money on Shepard, or he's going to be bankrupt.

Just thought about something not related to the thread topic, but relating to that quote.
It says the team has "fallen apart", which makes it sounds like the team didn't just break up on good terms.
Seems to me that the team had some issues and disagreements, and just went their separate ways.
I paused at that sentence more than anything else too.
If my team is gone in ME3, it makes the concept of the suicide mission pointless. So much for telling a closeknit story in 3 acts I guess.

all the team mates were only along for the ride...think about it now that Shepard is being put on trial how many of them would just stick around? and even after the suicide mission how many have already said they have other things to do? I think people are reading way too much into it
That's a fairly generic asumption on your part. Quite a few of them weren't. Zaeed, Samara/Morinth and Kasumi are in fact the only ones I can think of that might just have been 'along for the ride'. Even so, given they KNOW about the threat the reapers pose, after their adventures with Shepard, I find it hard to believe they would find stuff 'more interesting to do' than trying to ensure that both themselves and the rest of the galaxy actually got a galaxy to continue living in.
Also, what's the point of ensuring people survive in the SM if it doesn't matter? A silly achievement?
Where's the drama of having your teammembers die if their deaths are meaningless?
It also makes the whole point of ME2 redundant.
ME1 was about the introduction of the universe and getting introduced to the plot.
ME2 was about building your team.
ME3 is about fending off the overall plot threat that was implied in ME1.
Take away the team, and you take away the purpose of the second installment of the series. It might as well have been a 2-acter then, completely ignoring the 2nd installment.
I find it yet a downturn in the quality of the story from Biowares side if they really have spread the team.

and you are assuming I mean their relationship was casual but...think about it
None of the crew even Joker is actually alliance nor would they be re-instated since they worked for a terrorist cell which includes Jacob, Miranda and Joker
I am not saying they are not going to be back I am just saying they would not stick together by the beginning of ME3, we will probably have a few recruitment missions
