Freaking Gamlen has apparently moved into my mansion in my latest play though. He just stands in a door way lamenting the loss of Leandra and Dog is standing right in front of him. He's been there for weeks! Bloody free loader. (He's probably looking to steal my Wallop mallet.)
Lol. You should have dog escort him to the door.

I could never off Bethany. She's the only one who's sane and/or not a ******! *hugs her*
I loved Bethany more than Carver and thought the same until this last run.
Make her a warden she's not that pleasant, quite mean spirited especially if you side with the templars.
She's only sweet as a circle mage tbh.
Carver makes a great friend warden companion if you put effort into it.
All the characters can be insane and down right ugly based on what path you take.
Aveline is about the only one that has a common middle ground that never goes insane or lovey.
Sebastian is just a pain no matter what, more likely due to the fact they never finished anything about him.

She's not nice if you try to enforce a RoA? What do you expect, flowers and bunnies? She's a jew and you're backing Hitler! She's being incredibly nice just by not attacking you!
Bethany is awesome unless you go out of your way to screw it up. Carver is a douche unless you go out of your way to fix him. Bethany > Nothing at all > Carver.

Two points, she is more meen based on the fact of constant survival with the wardens is the main point I tried to raise.
This is shown in the three meetings before the RoA.
Second I tagged the especially if you side with the templars as an aside into the sentence to provide full infomation on the subject.
That each companion can be taken as good or bad, based on your actions.
I could have been clearer but not having an strong emotional opinion did not feel like I had to.

It's true she is pretty irritable as a grey warden when you meet her at the Qunari invasion. She later apologizes for that though, saying "You saved my life and I didn't even realize it..." Everyone makes mistakes, and unlike most people in DA2's, her mistake just causes some moodyness and not a bunch of lives. I think she can be forgiven for that. Besides, it shows she's not totally one-dimensional.

(well Sebastian is to me.)
I really just wanted to say that all companions are open to dark and light and in between in this game.
Bethany is sweet mostly because she's never had a reason not to be.
Give her even a small one she hardens herself, luckily not too much though.
I liked her as a warden, but it's not something I'd do often or even again as unlike Carver it's not the best thing for her.

Bethany is a tad bitter at first as a Warden, but she apologizes later. Carver gets mad at you for siding with the templars too... I guess he and Bethany don't like the idea of wiping out every single mage for some reason... hmn... I wonder why...

Or she ends up with Stroud. Even Jacob knows that THIS risk is NOT worth the priiiize

I've contemplated not marrying Alistair off to Anora in order to ensure that little problem goes away.

At that point, I had to RPG since my Hawke would not want to have her sister dead, but as the gamer I honestly didn't care since this was the first time in 40+ hours of gameplay that I had any news from her.

Congratulations, you just found the best reason ever not to make Hawke the main character of DA3.

And neither the Warden. Otherwise I would have to fear the wrath of Morrigan and that, to quote Varric, scares the **** out of me.

Wha? You slept with Morrigan? You're a bravier man than I. I'd sooner stick it in a pirahna tank.
