Might have been better to hit the spoiler section. But at Redcliff castle, it's an option from the demon possessing the boy if you take her deal.

hmm that i have done but havent got it afterwards.

I let the mother sacrifice herself to save the boy, but after that i didnt get it anyway.



and i let the mage, jowan or whatever he is called, lived but sent to the circle of magi. If that have anything to do with it.

I never did the sacrifice option, you have to personally confront the demon and talk with her and eventually she will offer you a deal, you get a few choices including the option to learn Blood Magic in exchange for her returning to the boys body after you die or something like that. I had actually gone to the Mage circle and got Irving and the lyrium and entered the Fade myself but I believe the option still comes up if you confront her in the physical world. I do know that if you send someone else aside from your character into the Fade which you may have done from the sound of it, the option will not come out because the demon attacks you on sight.

i got it now, but i think u can get it if u send Mog-something-something (dont know the spelling on her name), if u select that u want to talk to her instead of killing her u can get it. Tho its only in the fade i guess cause i tried without the fade and didnt had a chance to talk, it was a straight fight from the start. Well i got it now and your info help pretty much, so ty

ok i tried to bring both morrigon and jowan into the Fade but when the demon offer to conveser both of them turn down the deal automaticly n go straight to fighting
