I'm not so sure.Remember, we never killed that "middle-man" in the fight, and Harbinger seemed to be in constant control of Collector General until the last explosion. We only destroyed lowest of possesing hierarchy, which still gived brief respite in Harbinger's control. Imagine what could've happenned if General was suddenly killed - i imagine respite would be longer and it would affect higher tier of hierarchy - Reaper itself.

Sovereign lost control of himself once Saren was killed because there wasn't a middle man between him and Saren... if the Collector General ( the direct man who's controlled, the middle man for the other Collectors) would have been killed while in Harbinger's control, it would do what you said...
Don't understand where you contradicted me there, or what was it that I said wrong in your opinion, lol...

And about the virus - you slightly misunderstand. I did'n talk about virus that would work independently once it in the Reaper's system, but about a constant signal of reprogramming algorithms. I believe, AI control would be necessary  for such signal to be effective. Counteracting this is possible either by constant firewalls(which could mess with Reaper's own command signal) or constant changes to nanobot's controlling structure and circuits. The main purpose would be diverting Reaper's attention and processing power, also transmitter would be effective at least few seconds from the start.Which could prove critical whent timed with other attacks and jamming (preventing other Reapers to know of this method) 

Any sort if virus use is.. well... useless.
Even the virus you said, it's hard to make, and it work only a couple of seconds ( as you also noted)... Not reliable.

2. the united fleets of the galaxy launch a Galatic counter offensive in responce to the the murder
of RONOLD MC DONALD and OBAMA by punching hole in the reaper fleet so all ships
can seep thourth the crack in the defence to rape as many reaper capital ships as possible
before getting raped themselves the plan is a succes but we still get raped

3. as a last act of defiance to the reapers sheperd pulls out a baseball bat and beats the liveing
daylights outs of multiple husks berfore being vaperized by the main gun of a reaper drednourt

I suspect the solution's a combination of geth re-writing, ardat-yakshi domination or mind-wipe implemented via salarian genophage technology planted by shepard and crew in the reaper leader or network and lured into a dark star energy trap set by the quarians which force the reapers to age rapidly into disintegration.

There, can't believe i said that. But that's my far-fetch theory.

I just thought that you not support my idea of ground forces targeting generals. Like they need to seek people like Sarn first =)

This is not a virus, technically speaking. It's a cyberwarfare principle.I only suggested that it would be deployed through transmitter devices(not just ship systems) simultaneously with the conventional weapons attack - this could weaken their shields, if nothing else(diverting processing power).Missille could be fitted with this too, increasing jamming signal with proximity.


Btw, I think genophage cure will not play such significant role in ME3 - yes, it will work as persuasion tool to enlist krogan help, but at the same time it could worsen relations with council races. The effects of this will not be feeled until the kids grow up, and I doubt they need less then 2 years for that.

If Wrex is alive - you will still get help from his coalition of clans.So the choice here would be - just Wrex clans or all krogan clans, but less Council support. And no doubt krogans will be on brink of extinction after the war, if cure is not introduced.
So this will be more of Paragon\\Renegade split rather than consequences of will you have new ally or not.And that what I like see more - no matter what Shepard you played, you can still beat Reapers with same amount of sweat and blood.

I go with they are low on power since they had to get here the old fashioned way. Thanks to ME1 and stopping sovy, you reduced their power making them vulnerable on top of stopping their really cool ambush.
