I can't view friends SU's and all the text on my left hand side bar (where the messages, friends and profile links are) has tunred to what for the most part seems like gibberish. can anyone help?
most of the text on my account has turned to computer code.

Have you got a screenshot of what it looks like? Also, what do you have the language settings for this site set to? Scroll to the very bottom of the page, and in the bottom right corner there should be a small language box (With a drop-down menu). Make sure it's set to the language you want to browse this site in, which I would assume for you is 'English'.
