Would you also say that the hypothetical companion would have to be Tal-Vashoth for many years in order to acclimate to a non-Qun pov about the purpose and significance of accumulating material wealth, or say... fighting for self-interest rather than group interest?
I don't see it as such a leap that a Qunari could potentially turn Tal-Vashoth because he or she didn't hold with the Qun pov about the purpose and significance of romance and sexytimes.
