Yes. Voted.
I would also like to choose between the Death Mask-style helmet (cool LEDs and rather sinister, faceless setup), Garrus/Kuwashi style targeter and the N7 Helmet (Space: Above and Beyond badassery).

Agree. I really like the blood dragon armor, but it's really annoying to wear a helmet in some situations (drinking for example). I still want to be able to use the helmet (wearing a helmet in battle seems like a good idea), but having it automatically switch off in non-hostile areas (citadel, omega, illium) would be nice.

We have to keep this topic bumped so maybe with luck the developers will finally answer our wishes

It's strange that noone from Bioware has comented on this yet especially since this was such a big issue in ME2. There were so many alternate pieces of armour in ME2 and they were all useless since you could not remove any of the helmets. I personally don't want anyone on my team too wear a helmet unless of course they are in a Zero G enviroment so it would be nice to know if Bioware has been paying attention to all these helmet toggle threads/colapseable helmet threads.

I forgot to mention how pissed off I am at Bioware for sticking stupid visors and shades on all of ther Alternative appearance packs. I was tupid enough to pay and downlaod Alternative appearanbce pack 2 for the PS3 even though I knew what everyone looked like and I hated myself for doing so and I refuse on principal to spend anymore money on another Alternative appearance pack since Bioware just doesn't seem to understand that I don't want anything covering the face of my Shepard or the faces of my squadmates, nothing at all, I don't care how transperant it is .

Totally agree. there should be free moments in a dialogue sequence that would allow shepard to perform an animations of him taking the helmet off... though having a instant-helmet-on/off atleast would be preferable as well.
Same goes for Dragon Age, my character shouldn't always take his helmet off in EVERY sort of dialogue.

Fully support a toggle for the helmet. On Illium, it was pretty... weird... to say the least, when I wanted to take off Shepard's helmet, Shepard had to go all the way to space on Normandy to remove it in her private quarters, and then go back to CIC and once again land! What a waste of fuel and time!
It was easier to change the members in your team than to take off the helmet or to put it back on...

No collapsible helmets. I don't want to have bad flashbacks to Lost in Space back in 1997, thanks very much.
