And then you complain that the game isn't RPG enough. You just can't make everyone happy I guess...CajNatalie wrote...
Yeah! Go run all the way back to your ship, leave the docking bay, fly off in to space, watch the loading screen, "No messages Commander", go in the elevator, watch the loading screen, feed your fish, set your armor so you won't put your helmet on the next time you leave, listen to hamster sound, get in elevator, loading screen, "No messages Commander", discover you're mysteriously at the planet on the opposite side of the star system and fly back to the hub world... go in to orbit, fly in, land, pick squad...
No sweat.
I don't know why people complain.

Sounds good to me. I don't understand why we couldn't use the airlock in ME2. Decontamination in progress...evmiller wrote...

you guys are lazy. All you gotta do is go up in your quarters and take it off.
This is exactley why i propose to go out the airlock for away missions like we did in ME1 where there can be lockers to make these changes quicker. Better workfow this way. I Hate flying to a new system, only to leave the galaxy map to go up to my cabin to take my hemet off, then go back to the galaxy map and launch the mission. Put the gun and armor lockers in the airlock where they should be.

I could really care less as long as you can hide the helmet during dialogue. Seeing your face when talking is suppose to be one of the big points of this game. They could learn a thing or two from how they did it in Dragon Age 2. However, that is all they should learn from that game. *shudders*
When everyone is the majority, then yes you can make them happy.

Did they ever explain why it was left out of ME2?
Knowing it's Bioware, I'm assuming it's a better reason than "Oh...... forgot about that one"
Christina Norman said something along the lines of some armors (DLC) not looking like they want without helmet, which completely misses the point and doesn't fix the numerous problems that come with stuck helmets.
If they really listen to feedback then this thing should be in the top five or atleast top 10 of Hudsons to-do list.

Oh no she didn't say that...did she? They too afraid to tell the artists "No, sorry these armors look like crap with the helmets off, redo them right this time." Maybe they need a new art director who knows how to crack a whip.

Maybe Bioware will take the hint.

EDIT: I suppose though I do agree with having a toggle helmet, I mean come on, why not?

Why not just for some cut scenes or something? I don't see why people think they need their helmet off in combat...it just seems unrealistic, and the very same people who are complaining about not having their helmet off in combat are probably the same people who post in other threads complaining about realism
EDIT: I suppose though I do agree with having a toggle helmet, I mean come on, why not?
That's the point. If we had a helmet toggle, we'd be wearing it in combat. It's either realism in combat or realism in conversations. Take your pick.

Personally ... in ME2 I was never wearning a helmet (except in atmospheric unsuitible conditions) the most I was wearing was the "head shot " visor that you could buy. The facial customization is the only real (to some small degree) artistic input that a player has and I personally (once I was happy with a face for my Shepards) never really used any of the additional armour and never equiped a helmet.
in that case I prefer "non-realisimn" in combat and actually seing my shepard. If that is achieved via a toggle or via all armour types being as customizable as the N7 armour I don't mind either way.

She wasn't the only one commmenting in that direction about "artistic vision" and "completness" of DLC armour and therefore they couldn't possibly make the Helmets dissapear because that "broke" the artistic vision for the DLC armour ... etc.
Quoting from memory here ... and that is always a but iffy
