There is no 'canon canon'. Your story is the canon

In ME2 if you do not import a save file the choices are those that a Renegade with no ranks in the Intimidate skill would have. So basically, Rachni are dead, Wrex is dead, Council is dead, the VS is the one with the opposite sex as your character, Rana Thanopolis is dead, Shiala is dead, everyone at Zhu's Hope is dead, Kirrahe is dead, Saren died a slave and Sha'ira is disgraced and leaving the Citidael.
