So where do you think things will go next with DLC for Dragon Age 2 and the future for Dragon Age 3?
We know Ferelden is not at its strongest, still stabilizing after the Blight. In DA2, Alistair (king from my Origins) mentioned that it seemed Orlais was considering an attempt to reclaim the country again.
The Chantry is falling apart as the Circle of Magi around Thedas are rising up for their freedom and the Templars are splintering; either at war with the Circle or splitting off to hanlde problems in their own way.
Flemmeth still lives (and I'm unclear why her minor appearance in DA2 warranted her being on promo art) as does Morrigan almost assuredly through the Eluvian after Witch Hunt. Both of them seemed to suggest some knowledge of what was to come from the events in Kirkwall as they both talked about change coming to Thedas. It seems clear the two are destined for a confrontation in the future and amidst the chaos of Circle/Templar war what could that mean?
Leliana doesn't think it's coincidence that both the Warden and the Champion disappeared after the events they were in the midst of. I would assume this is her faith speaking, that their disappearance is essentially the will of the Maker, but could it be a hint of foreshadowing? Could the Warden (for players whose Warden survived) and Hawke both appear in Dragon Age 3?
I'm hoping we get to revisit Ferelden again and explore Orlais, Antiva, the Tevinter Imperium, and more interaction with the qunari.
What are your thoughts and what do you hope to see in future installments of the franchise?
