Basically, what happens is that I put the disc in, and right after the EA logo, it says there's been a profile change and I need to log out. I log out, and start again, and at the "press start" screen, log back in. From here, I can load my 2 other ME2 save files, and keep playing, but if I attempt to import an ME1 file, then as soon as the setup process begins (where I select difficulty, etc), I get the same error message: that there's been a profile change and I need to sign out. I sign out, and the game restarts from the opening credits, showing the Bioware and EA logo. Any help? :(

I don't think this is a common problem; and there doesn't seem to be a great deal on the boards about it. However, the closest I could find is below:

No-one on that thread seemed to have a concrete solution. The last poster seems to suggest that being connected to XBox Live helps.

Other things such as clearing the cache might be something to go on.

Hm. How would I clear the cache? And thank you.

Just found another thread about the issue; starting to look like an internet connection problem of sorts:

As for clearing the cache:

Yeah, I have been having internet issues. Thank you so much! You've been more a help then I was hoping for :)

Thanks, if I find a definitive solution, I'll post back. The EA support said it was corrupted data, and trying to reload/restart could help.
