After I downloaded Arrival and LoTSB, I noticed the difficulty level in the game sometimes acts wonky.  Full disclosure: I play on Xbox, and I don't know if this is unique to me or whether it's a known bug.

I've put hundreds of hours into Insanity mode, so I know approximately how much damage I should be doing given what upgrades I have.  However, after I installed the DLC, sometimes enemies act as though I'm playing on Normal.

Powers do much more damage than they should, and enemies do much less.  This is not a function of upgrades... this happens even before I have any.  Miranda's Area Overload will one-shot shields on Purgatory, even though I haven't picked up Mordin on NG+ (impossible).  Plus, my shields don't get blown off under concentrated enemy fire.

Enemies still have protections, like they should on Insanity, it's just they're not scaling appropriately.  I don't know why this is.  Anyone else experienced this?

EDIT: Using the Restart Mission autosave function fixes this when it occurs.

I got the impression that the enemies [in Arrival] may not be L30 as they should have been but I don't otherwise have any proof. How much shields & HPs should a goon have in general? How about Arrival? I tried to look it up but didn't see it posted on the wiki [maybe I looked in the wrong places??]

FYI: I'm also on the XBox

Edit:  I found some wiki entries but never did find # of shield HPs.

I have not noticed anything like that, the enemies in Arrival seem to be standard level 30 mercs to me (PC version).

However, the game is definitely more unstable. It crashed on Illium..for no reason. And I also get occasional sound glitches. Neither of those problems ever occured before I installed Arrival DLC.

I'm also seeing more general glitches with the game since Arrival. It's too bad that the XBox isn't as open to "snooping" to see things like HPs, Damage, etc.

Edit:  The guys didn't feel L30 to me but I've only played with my old characters with all of the upgrades anyway so maybe that's why they feel a little extra weak????

Perhaps they're supposed to be a bit weaker on Arrival to account for the solo play and time limit?

It's not just Arrival, tho, it's everywhere. I'm also getting game crashes in weird places and sound going out, Kronner.

They are level 30 - you can see that - if you watch this Eviscerator Sentinel. All SG upgrades, but Eviscerator does not one shot the mercs. If they were weaker than standard level 30 enemies, it would 1S1K-ed them.

Fortunately, these crashes are very rare, so it is bearable, but still - Arrival fracked something up.
