I'll take that asari/hanar porn game.
If Mass Effect 4 had to be a different game genre, what would you prefer ?

It'll probably be an MMO. (That's where the money is at.)
Either that or an TPS RPG again but with Multiplayer made for the next-gen consoles that'll probably come out 2015.

RTS, squad-based TPS, space combat game, or another RPG would be good.
Not another MMO though.

The problem with an MMO is that Bioware is releasing another Sci-fi MMO (SWToR) and MMO cost a ton to create and release. So I don't think Bioware would release two MMOs in the same genre.Bluko wrote...

I can tell you what I don't like
RTS
MMO
FPS is ok
I ideally would like more of the same, just different story and PLEASE do not go backwards in the ME history. Progress please.
^^this
This is something I posted a little while ago...but still holds true
"There is absolutely no reason why they wouldn't be able to continue to make games within the Mass Effect universe. It is so diverse and fleshed out...it almost begs to be expanded upon.
Just think about it...wouldn't it be interesting to be able to play a game set in the Mass Effect universe as a Justicar, or as a Spectre investigating some type of murder scenario much like "Heavy Rain"...?
It doesn't have to be a sweeping story that involves universal genocide, it could step it back a few notches and go the route of smaller more personal campaigns. The fan film: Mass Effect: Reprisal is an excellent example of a story taking place within the universe that has nothing to do with Sheps or any of his/her crew. And it isn't
about saving the galaxy...it's a good ol' fashioned story about revenge...
Bioware could easily create a game more like their traditional RPG game DA:O within the Mass Effect universe, like Heavenly Sword, L.A. Noire, an open-world story like Red Dead Redemption, or one like Alan Wake. Just like the Star Wars franchise, the posibilities are endless. There was a horror story made within the Star Wars universe not too long ago...as well as some noir...which shows that other well-implimented sub-genres are possible to successfully weave into a single one(in this case sci-fi)...and those stories prove it.
Imagine if you will, you are a Justicar and you have just been tasked by the council of Thessia (or some other asari cabal in charge of them, to find the perpetrator of the murder of the asari equivalent of the president,
or some other important figure. It could be your sister, your character's mother, bondmate, teammate...anything
- for the sake of this conversation it doesn't really matter what.) And during your investigations you find clues to a larger conspiracy in the Asari government...yada, yada, yada...(or one that stays strictly a personal journey- you hunt down the killer of some loved-one of yours) this scenario alone could make for a pretty long and involved campaign. The universe's welfare doesn't need to be at stake to make an engaging story. Heavy Rain proves that. Imagine if clues sent you to Illium, Tuchanka, or Thessia, in the pursuit of the killer(s). I don't know about anyone else here, but that's a game that I would certainly pay to play... post ME3"

I don't want an RTS but I wouldn't mind elements of a RTS inside a traditional RPG. Garrus gets lots of community love so I think he could lead his own game as the main character.

I'd prefer to see another single player action RPG like the first three Mass Effect games, but if Bioware went in a different direction, I'd be most interested in an MMO.

Keep the ME franchise the same format. If you mess with it, you're just going to get another DA2 fiasco.

I'd enjoy a turn-based tactical RPG, like Final Fantasy Tactics only with some semblance of modernity and balance.

Another game like Mass Effect, but with space combat implemented similar to a game like Freelancer or Tie-Fighter. Something where you can drive around in your ship along the mass relay system and land on planets to explore and do missions.
