When I try to enter Bartrand's estate in the Family Matter quest, instead of me being just Varric for the first part, the game brings my whole party into the estate.  Also, only one of the bandits attacks me and the rest just stand around and I am not able to do anything. I tried rebooting and reloading multiple times and nothing worked. My party is also glitched to me when I try to enter my own estate (Hawke's estate). Normally when you go in, you are by yourself in house clothes, but instead, I am in all my armor with my full party. Anybody know how to fix this or is it just a bug that has yet to be fixed? All help is appreciated.

One more thing. While the quest is normally only meant to be done in Hightown at night, I can enter the estate during the day or at night time

Any rough idea what you had done before this starting happening? Haven't seen any other complaints of this yet. If you try to manually change your party at one of the stations (such as in the Hanged Man) does that still work?

Yeah that still works. And when I leave my estate I can still change the party. But they follow me into places that they're not supposed to. And now when I try to enter Bartrand's estate, it just brings Varric and Avilene, but still only one bandit attacks. So I don't know what's going on there

I figured it out. I had to put just Varric in my party and go to Bartrand's estate. It seemed to fix the problem of my party coming with me into my own estate too
