So my static point lights are causing obvious seams along chunk boundries.

I read in another thread that you can only have one static light affect each chunk and that the solution is to have smaller chunks.
Apparently you can't change the chunk size after level creation.

I'm hoping someone has come up with another solution because I can't recreate the level, its about three weeks into development and as part of a uni assignment I just don't have the time to start again from scratch.

Does anyone know a way that I can make this work properly?

imo there's no other way. just use 1 static light and lit the rest with baked lights.

That wont work :(
Baked lights don't create the right effect. Its mean to be pools of light from lamps posts illuminating an otherwise very dark area.

for sure they do - you only have to play around to find the right settings. the only thing you will be missing is that they cannot be animated (so no flickering lights) and they won't affect chars which isn't that big of a problem because chars will be lit globally by 3 static lights only affecting them. within my castle level i've got the very same problem... it sucks badly, i know :D
