I run an independent BG2 modding site called Volcano Productions. Its flagship mod is "Soul Exchange", a mod that prevents the Bioware NPC's from joining the party, and introduces an entirely new cast of joinable NPC's, each with their own personality, voices, possible friendships, at least 6 romances (4 heterosexual, 1 gay, 1 lesbian), quests and more. There's also the Expansion Pack which adds additional NPC's, romances, animal companions, and more.

Other mods that are hosted at Volcano Productions include Coondred (male raccoon fur druid, introducing furries to BG2), Volcanic Armoury (item pack), Crusader Pack (an old obscure mod updated by me).

In progress are: Lockheart (sweet female vocalist/bard, lesbian romance with PC, close friendship with Aerie), Aerie Relationship (adds friendship track, lesbian romance with PC, and a new quest to Aerie), Wikaede Revisited (my first mod, a One-Day NPC, created anew and expanded), Korgan Romance (Korgan x PC romance), Nicholas (male bunny fur with friendship and possible gay romance with PC), and more.

If you're interested, the forums with all mods and progress are found here: Volcano Productions Forums  and the main website is found here: Volcano Productions Website

Interesting mods (not meant as british understatement, but as dutch straithforward telling-like-it-is). It's a pity you don't remake Kari. I liked the idea of taking her, until I read it was very buggy, and it will stay that way, as you don't remake it?

Coondred uses the same portrait as Moddie, a vixen (female fox) that can join your party at Irenicus' dungeon.

Nice mix of sexual orientations in the mod. Current mods lacked a bit variety, I myself would feel uncomfortable with a man flirting with me I think, but knowing how many gay people there are, 1 in 6 RPG romances being gay *edit: - and 1 in 6 being lesbian - would be a good balance!

I looked at the choice of NPC's that are planned - it's a great ambition you people have! I hope you manage to complete the project. I will try it out once it's out there (though I'm not skilled enough in the 2nd part of BG to volunteer as a tester - I still not made in to chapter 3 in any of my 3 current BG2 campaigns).

Yeah, I'm not that interested at remaking Kari right now. I might one day in the future, but it's not planned right now.

I know, but I don't think Moddie now has the sole right to use that portrait. Besides, why use a raccoon portrait for a vixen? I found a much better more beautiful vixen portrait for Moddie.

-chuckles- There will always be haters, no matter what I'd introduce. Furs and sex go hand-in-hand, that's true, but I refuse to make a true furry slüt NPC, or to explicitly detail the act itself. The fandom doesn't need more bad publicity, and i'm not like that either. I also refuse to not include any sex whatsoever, furry or not.

I'm an artist. I can't please everyone, nor would I want to. Simple solution: Don't install the content you don't like.
