The writer of the article believes that Cerberus has gone down the same route as Saren, and is preparing for the arrival of their new overlords.

I personally don't know what to think.

I'm hoping that that isn't the full story (and it seems it isn't). Cerberus is too good of a plot device to waste on secondary-antagonist, seriously.

I think the Reapers are a better priority. And plot device. Cerberus has and always will be idiots in the way.

That seemed to be the plan in ME 2 . But then Bioware changed things up for a stupid reason

Oh, okay, so because TIM is a skeevy liar dude, he's responsible for every skeevy lie ever? And every situation is automatically skeevy-lie-induced?

Not every lie. He is not above manipulating others, even to their deaths, in order to further his own plans.

Then again, if anyone didn't see Cerberus' betrayal coming, they were just fooling themselves to think that Cerberus could be Shepard's BFF, when he's a Alliance soldier.

To me it felt they were too far gone to make it acceptable.

*spittake*

Yeah...because recycling Bring Down The Sky story elements for Arrival was such a good idea, why not recycle from ME1...

I don't see anything bad with it. BioWare's just showing what happens when you're ****ing around with Reaper tech.

It's not bad..it's just..predictable and feels like a wasted opportunity for what could have been a really wicked plot twist.

But again, we don't know the full story yet so maybe there is still some sort of twist to look forward to.

This was my big problem with Arrival.

Kenson: "We found a Reaper artifact!"
Shepard: "What? How are you not indoctrinated?"
Siansonea (to screen): "I know, right?"
Kenson: "We took precautions, we're not fools."
Shepard: "Oh, okay. Hurp durp."
Siansonea (to screen): "RIIIIIIGHT. Gee, I wonder if she's indoctrinated already/going to betray Shepard?"

So yeah, yet MORE people indoctrinated because they're "scientists" is going to be pretty yawn-tacular if that's the case.

TIM could be looking at the situation the same way I do. Once Earth is lost humanity might as well be lost. Resistance is futile. May as well just accept our fate and such.

Shepard did seem to grab hold of the idiot ball with both hands and run the full length of the field with that one didn't he? I blame Cerberus's neural techs for doing a shoddy job of rebuilding his brain.

One part has been bothering me, Shepard was in proximity to the artifact for a good 2 days, even though he was unconscious. I really hope indoctrination starts to catch up with him.

Regarding pcgamer, I don't really take much of what they say seriously, since I read in a recent article that they called huskification specifically Geth technology, so I'll have a hard time believing anything that comes from them if they can't get simple things correct.

Cerberus working with the Reapers sounds like something straight out of a bad fanfic (or a dark corner of Mac Walter's mind).
