The Red Jenny gloves are a reward from a series of assassination quests, and they're not part of a set to my knowledge.

It's really epically stupid. Felon's Coat is the best leather armor. Evon the Great's Mail is pretty awesome too.

Yes but it's also not even as close to as good as Felon's Coat.Taerda wrote...
The Shadow Empire armor in Orzamaar is really good for being available early and for a low ammount of money.
AND I would have to say Superior Drakeskin is better (for the set bonus). So if you do the drakescale/dragonscale quest early you'd never even see Felon's Coat! That is either truly stupid or a bug. Is there a mod yet to fix this? If there isn't we need one asap.

The shop definitely gets locked for you once you get the second armour set which, while irritating does make some vague sense as you basically stop them from making any real business for what would be considerably long time... which pisses the merchant off to the point he doesn't want to have anything to do with you anymore.

It doesn't make any sense what so ever. He's mad about losing business due to our armor smithing deals. So what good will turning down our gold do him? Pride at its best eh? Not counting royalty we're pretty much the gold powerhouse around denerim after all.

If i remember right it is still possible to buy wares from Wade if you do just the first part of the scales. And the coat is there on sale pretty much from the beginning or at least was in my game, i just couldn't afford it.
No it's definitely not there till the Landsmeet. I checked an early save before and one after. Unless there is some other trigger or since this is the PC version it may be different on console.

Viceroy: i'd say the very fact he'd rather have nothing to do with you after you clog his shop for few days/weeks can be seen as hint that no, you are not as much of "the gold powerhouse" compared to his regular revenue as you think you are...

Yes it is there before the Landsmeet. I bought it about 10-15 hours before Landsmeet..

You know you can have Wade make the armour for free right? Though, I admit it seems stupid for his boyfriend to complain when you give him gold for making it anyway. <_<

So, if you do Eamon's/Urn quest first and complete the drake scale and dragon scale quests then the shop will lock down and you wont have access to either of the two armors I mentioned.

How exactly do you start this quest series? I got it my first time through the game and haven't seen it since. It's something to do with Zevran, right?

Especially after paying him 30 total gold... Way more than any of his other orders, give or take a couple.Count Viceroy wrote...
