Hi. I just started with the toolkit and am trying to create npc to npc conversations.  I've created my first, have set an npc and another to listener and speaker and everything else following a tutorial i found.  The conversation works  when played, but there's no chance for the player to click through each step.  Instead, the conversation goes through very quickly on its own.  I haven't set a delay or anything.  Any help?

NPC line in Red, player line in Blue.

I bet you got it all in Red

if a line is blank it's passed as it wasn't here.

For NPC to NPC convos you want to use all the red lines like you are. There are two ways to go about making it readable. First is add a delay, I would suggest against this. A player cannot click through NPC lines if there is a delay they just have to wait. Use this if you need to have an NPC do an animation of some scripted action you don't want skipped.
If you add anything to the PC line, outside of brackets || or {} the convo will not continue until the PC has clicked it. If you throw in a "continue", "ease drop" or whatever, the conversation will not advance until the player clicks the Blue PC node.
Depending on your convo style there may be built in delays. I believe cutscenes have a short delay based on characters in the node, it can be clicked through. If you add sounds the NPC node, the node will end as soon a the sound file is done. So if you have a boat load of text and a quick little sound you will need to add a delay or PC response.

Two ways I have done this:
- make it a cutscene and use the lipflappers to set each line to a number of seconds, or
- have the conversation lines float above their heads (I use this technique in the Silverwand Sample Campaign)

Strange, i follow this guide's example
http://nwvault.ign.c...ls.Detail&id=65

In the tutorial module the blue lines are left blank. When running it, the camera stays on the npcs and can be clicked through. Everything on my mod seems the same.

If i insert blue text the camera will fix itself on the PC.

Wow. I just realized the time is based on the amount of text. I only had some one liners.
