I hope Bioware will offer us the chance to customize Shepard's face again during Mass effect 3 we don't need an excuse just offer us the chance to do so and I really hope they can add more hairstyles for both the male and female Shepard

Only if it makes sense in the plot like it did in ME2.

I'd like this. I always had to re-create my Shep in ME2 because the imported versions always looked off. I'd rather not wander round in ME3 using a Shepard with razor-blade cheekbones.

New hairstyles would be great too. Some of them in ME2 looked oddly greasy.

Screw that, character creation should be the first thing that you do in the game. We don't need a 20 minute plot cutscene before it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.
In DA2 we could tweak our character's appearance mistake infinite times using the magic mirror at the Black Emporium. It is wonderful, and the Normandy's medical bay upgrade could easily be used for the same purpose, without breaking immersion too badly.
Plus, Shep should be allowed to change hairstyles whenever.

I don't see why they need a justificative to add character customization. It's obvious that it's a purely cosmetic difference that only the player can notice.

As proof, on Freedom's Progress, when you meet Tali, she recognizes your face. She is not sure it's you, but it's obvious that you look familiar, and that happens regardless of weather you played a white Shepard on the first game and a black Shepard on the second, for example. Nassana also recognizes you, and so does Garrus, etc.

Something I wish they'd add is different bodies. Nothing major, like fat or short (in fact, different heights might be more trouble than they're worth), but at least "slender", "normal" and "athletic" physiques to choose from would be cool.

I agree the magical mirror in DA II did not hinder anything it was a nice option and I agree making the medical bay into another customer customization face would be nice.
Choosing body types would be a nice plus.
Of course the CC should be put before we face the trial on Earth

Yeah I agree, far too many times have I had to start over.

Also, more hairstyles please. Please? I'm a little tired of the 5 hairstyles and lack of variety.

the male ones were not really nice and I am not even talking about the females ones I know that though Shepard is in the military they should have standard short haircuts but come on we're in the future they could give us some leeway and allow beautiful hairstyles for females and cool ones for the male Shepard

I did this countless times too.

They should let us tweak it in the middle of the game. Shepard should be able to get a haircut/hair style change, shave facial hair/change make-up (I personally don't understand the idea of putting on massive amounts of make-up before battle, but hey, whatever), and so on. Heck, make the bathroom in the captain's cabin useful for something and have it done there.

New hairstyles for sure, especially if my modded Shepard doesn't import.

Wonder how they'll fit the change in Shepard's appearance in the story, or if they'll even bother (don't think they really have to). Definitely need more haircuts

I hate to say this but I cannot see where they can put such a tool in the opener of the game unless of course you start a new shepherd.

and I doubt they will change the face system at all because the paragon and renegade skin system is already in place and they tested the ME3 graphics system on PS3 users and the improvements looked good enough not to warrant a redesign of the character design system (i know we want it but they will never make the system as high quality than the default face

I'm all for face customization (scars and all that) but hairstyles is meh. Some people want long hair for Femshep (and some even for male Shep) which is just ridiculous considering she's a soldier. Just knowing that I can look like barbie would make me uneasy.

Just adding my voice to the rather large chorus really.  I am fairly happy with the way my main femshep looks but improvements in the game engine could necessitate me tweaking the look of Shepard to get her how I want her to look.

Aside from that it would be nice to have a change, maybe a different hairstyle (I use a different hairstyle for Shep in ME 2 compared to ME 1).  I mean people change their hairstyles all the time, so I see no problem with allowing us to do tweaking of our characters,

I would just be happy if they made the current hairstyles not look like plastic wigs. DA2 had hair that looked and moved little more natural, at least.

also make it so that npc will react to your shep appearance and keep the facial scars for those who did not use the med bay upgrade to heal them
