Berserker's ability description says
The berserker flies into a rage, landing powerful blows for as long as
this mode is active.
Damage: +10% of remaining stamina
So if I understand this correctly...
If Stamina is 146 points, I'm getting a 156% damage damage increase if I attack a enemy at full stamina?
Berserker question

nope. if you have 146 points you get 14.6 dmg extra
It's 10% of your remaining stamina in damage if that makes sense. you can upgrade it to 15% later..

14.6? so how do you equate that with percentage.
Reaver is easy to understand with blood Frenzy because it says invertly up to 200%.

Okay... your remaining stamina pool is 'x' amount.
The extra dmg you do is 10% of 'x'...
or for example: 100 stamina
extra damage from berserk at full stamina = 100/10=10 dmg extra
So basically each hit you do will do a little bit extra based on how much stamina you have.

Ohhh ok, gotchu. Confusing.
Description is confusing.
I just used the Berserker skill on my second playthrough instead of Reaver and my damage per swing seems to be a lot higher than with Reaver. I was trying to figure out why.

Not very impressive, Reaver sounds better.

Haha yeah some of the descriptions are worded really weirdly.
A reaver can actually unleash some pretty amazing damage - if you're badly wounded.
A berserker will be good at autoattack damage as long as willpower/stamina levels are high
The two specialisations together actually work quite well. If you haven't already, checkout Arelex's berserker vanguard guide, it explains all the abilities etc pretty well

I thought so too, but I've made a build specialize around Reaver, and one around Berserker and the Berserker.. I dunno.. his damge per swing is crazy, and thats without even activating Cleave on Nightmare.
Its easier to pick up Reaver late just for Blood Frenzy than it is to pick up Berserker late, you have to invest 5 points in to Berserker just to make it sustainable at all times.
Blood Frenzy plus Sustained Berserker is crazy

Best to have both
.
Btw, berserker bonus is added very early in the damage formula, so it's like having a weapon with that much more damage.

yea, its insane.
I had a Reaver with 39 strength and he was doing about half the DPS per swing than 29 Strength Berserker Reaver is doing.
The description for Berserker doesn't give it justice, it makes it seem lame but the skill is pretty beastly.
