Ashley is the female human version of saren..so basically a racist that only likes their own alien race and would never shed a tear if he/she had to kill any other aliens thats not their own race...lol thats my two cents tho

Wow...that's absoultely NOTHING like Ashley. Bravo dude.

did you not play ME1? she was racist to the aliens...she always complained about the aliens...so its not too far off base to say she could be a saren type of spectre

Did YOU play ME1? She mentioned once about not like the idea of Garrus and Wrex having full access to anywhere on the ship. That's completely justified.

Hell, send her to fight with the Salarians on Virmire and, surprise surprise, she actualyl works well with them. Hell, she volunteers to go with them. Clearly only a racist would act like that.

Plus she feels bad about Liara's situation with her mother, and if you dump Liara for her, she shows symphaty towards her.

And she is also strongly against the Terra Firma Party, not to mention Cerberus.

So now that we've heard about Ash/Kaidan's promotion, what kind of changes in their personalities do you think we will see? Will Kaidan still be as naive and goody-goody as he use to be? Will Ash still be as coarse and brash as ever?

Wait, what about Garrus? He's way more badass than Ashley and Kaiden combined. Those two are pretty average soldiers to be Spectres.  It really cheapens the prestige.

Average? Ashley's got an exemplary service record. She was just blacklisted for being a Williams and got crap assignments.

Kaidan is a powerful L2 biotic, has numerous commendations, and is a Lieutenant besides.

Ashley can take out Wrex. She is far from average. Shepard is the only other person capable of killing Wrex.

Um, she shoots him in the back, from surprise.

Both Kaidan and Ashley are good soldiers. Kaidan is a powerful biotic, calm, and makes well thought out decisions. Ashley is has a record full of commendations. I would have preffered Garrus, but not because Kaidan and Ashley aren't good enough. (Though, in game play terms, I rarely took Ahsley in ME1, I found Wrex or Garrus more useful in general for the high damage combat role. I did take Kaidan quite a bit, but preffered Liara usually for singularity.)

They do need to explain what they did to become Specters though.  Getting owned on Virmire doesn't count.

Flanking is not only not "illegal" in tactical military combat, it is encouraged.

And sympathizes with Tali about the plight with the Quarian's face and actually tells her that she hopes Tali's involvement can help repair the Quarian's image.

She also warns Garrus not to let humans get to him over being angry about Saren.

Clearly she hates aliens. -_-

I'm hoping this will come in the form of pre-ME3 dlc.

That would be awesome, though didn't they say Arrival was the last one?

They did. BW has already said there wont be any Pre-preparation dlc for ME3 after arrival.

Damn, are you that insecure? Whats the matter? Sheperd not  so special anymore? They were bound to induct more humans into the Spectres and Ash and or Kaidan are the next most recognized human soldier after Sheperd. They did help put down Saren and Soverengh and save the citadel. It wasn't a one man job.

There's nothing in the title that is a spoiler. I will put *spoilers* in the title so people know.

as ive stated in the other VS spectre topics....im skeptical about the validity of the report in PS3M regarding their status. it reads as purported to me. Bioware seems to have given Gameinformer exclusive first-rights to most..if not all...of the info regarding ME3. I will wait till it is announced by Game Informer or Confirmed by someone at Bioware.

Being a soldier/spy of exceptional skill is all it really takes to be considered a Spectre candidate. The only reason it took so long to get a human inducted was because of a "glass ceiling" sort of effect regarding human advancement. The Council had to take the possible PR fallout of a human Spectre into consideration.

Didn't mean to come off as an attack...my bad.
But even if you never used them, the in universe story is that they were with you whether  they were parked on the  ship are out in the field.

"Hey Wrex, turn and face Ashley so she can kill you"
"Okay Shepard"

oh wait...that's not a dialogue option.

Garrus should have been made Spectre. He's the only one badass enough to be made one.

Ashley/Kaidan were too busy going 'boo hoo you joined Cerberus'.

Garrus was too busy being the hero Omega deserves, but not the one it needs right now.
