I've done my fair share of scripting, some more complicated then others.
However there is one thing I can't seem to find any information on (may have missed it) but I was wondering if it's possible to script the ability for characters to take more then 3 classes.
For me it was the one "great" thing about NWN2, unfortantly their pention for trying to enfource 4.0 rules on a 3.5 engine leaves much to be desired IMO, namely the lower level cap, which I find held the game back from it being at least on par with NWN1.
At any rate, I've been unable to find any information if it's been tried, or has already been done. I havent dove into the code nearly as much like Shadow among quite a few others, so thought I would ask first before diving head first into this.
Thanks for any help. -Xovian

It ssimply can not be done by NWN script. I do not even thin it can be done by NWNx. it would take a engine hak to pull it off.

Just curious, is it possible to edit classes to kind of combine them? Like a thief/fighter. That way you could give the option of 3 grouped classes.

the closest thing I can think of that would imulate multiple classes is a custum subrace option, with 2da work as described in the lexicon. you then could say...
Player starts as one class fighter, then in game chooses subrace fighter/ thief, the subrace would give those feats etc. then when root class fighter reaches 20 they choose wizzy, then choose subrace fighter/wizzy pc meets all requires for subrace rootclass fighter/wizzy subrace makes for adjustments. Just an Idea my be quite the scripting work though

Thanks for the replies all.
So much for trying to get the best of both worlds.
One or the other it is then...but then again i still need to finish my last release now that i finally got my computer back up and running.
@Lightfoot
I'll be putting up a non-CEP version of it as well when i finish it, so you can get a good laugh at some of my work arounds.

Yea, not very doable even with NWNX. The attempts was there but game crashed when we tried to set fourth class via NWNX. The Greyfort suggestion is a possible workaround.
Or it could be possible to do it after reaching max lvl 40 like HGLL does that.
