 With the playstation network being down how can/will I get my downloadable PC copy of Mass Effect 2? I don't want to miss out on it, but I don't know when the PSN will be back up and I would hate to miss my change because of that. 

Do you think EA will extend it for PS3 owners or have some other method of getting the code you need?

You're probably screwed, friend. I'm in the same boat, it really pisses me off, but it is what it is. We're gonna miss out on a free game because Sony can't get its act together.

Just chiming in here to say I'm on the same boat ... just received the game yesterday, can't activate the code.

I hope bioware reads this and cuts PS3 users some slack, but since this is actually an EA deal, I highly doubt they will.

I contacted EA customer service using the live chat option and after I explained the situation they offered me ME2 right then and there (after I gave her the code, of course). Have the offer link handy (http://dragonage.bioware.com/me2offer/), as the rep didn't seem to be aware of the details, particularly the April 30 expiration. Surprised at how easy and quick it was.

Edit: Just thought I'd update here to say that after a long while of explaining the situation it went through just fine in the end. Took a bit but they were very helpful.

Huh, really? I tried the same thing with EA support the other day, told them about the promotion and gave them my code, and they basically said "tough luck." Maybe I just got unlucky and got a bad tech support guy.

Just contacted the online EA help. All I needed to do was attach a pic file of the sales slip. They will ask for it and the Online Pass code. Have the EA Download manager installed first before contacting them. http://www.ea.com/1/download-manager.

My rep was most helpful. Downloading ME2 as I write this.

Sorry, why would PSN being down prevent you from downloading a PC game? Mine is downloading now. Sorry if I sound stupid or whatnot but I can't figure out what the problem is? o_O

I contacted EA online help as well and also downloading as i type this.

Just had to let them know that i got the ME2 download code, stated the expiration date of the offer and the inability to connect to the PS3 network to log into EA account in-game (which is part of the conditions of being eligible for promo) and i even sent them this link as proof that others were downloading without logging in-game.

The online support guy was very helpful once he had all the necessary info and got it resolved quickly
