Hello, I have spent a few hours searching and experimenting on how to add your custom made face into the game i have found quiet a few advises and guides, but i still fail. I used this guide [url]http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/8/index/500318/1[url] to attemp to adding my custom head, i followed the instructions to the letter but still didnt manage to achieve my ultimate goal :unsure:

I'm making morphs for a custom module, but the placement of my files also puts them in the core game, I can tell you where I have which files so you have some reference maybe?

My custom exported mop and mor files are in:
\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\AddIns\\MYMODULENAME\\core\\override\\toolsetexport
The edited chargenmorphcfg.xml is in:
\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override\\

I reckon you can stick them all into \\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override\\  though.

If you add an extra line to the chargenmorphcfg.xml under whatever race and gender your morph belongs to, it should add the morph as a new preset face.

Example:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<morph_config>
<heads>
<human_male>
<resource name="YOUR_MORPH_NAME.mop"></resource>

<resource name="HM_CPS_P01.mop"></resource>
<resource name="HM_CPS_P02.mop"></resource>

i have edited the changenmorphcfg.xml in order to add a new preset face to the char creator page, the problem is that it isnt there, i think i just didnt put the right name in.
<resource name="HM_CPS_P01.mop"/> this is the standard version of the code, i changed everything after <resource name="HM_ ..... and put the name of my morph in there and then saved it, but it didnt have any effect, is there somehting i am missing ? I saved my morphs in .mop format

Check where you've put your morph-file i'd say then. Stick it with the chargenmorphcfg.xml into the
\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override\\ folder.
You can make a subfolder for them there if you'd like, should work.

Is it a human male head, btw yeah?

hm = human male
hf = human female
em = elf male
and so on, morph needs to be added in the right place in the chargenmorphcfg.xml
