God made woman because he loves man. To deny a woman's beauty is to deny God's love.

Well, that was rather irrelevant.

It means that I don't want to see women dressed like men. I also don't want to see masculine women.

Edit... nevermind.

This topic isn't about Science, either. I'm not allowed to have an opinion that says "God"?

Right, because everyone was asking for just that.  Oh, that's right: nobody was.

I for one am waiting for an Asari who adopts a masculine persona over a feminine one, but, I can't see it happening...

My "thoughts on oversexualized/unarmored squaddies" is based on my distaste for hardcore feminism that has pervaded public education and pop culture in America.

Feminists claim that there is no difference between men and women. Literally!

This is why I find Miranda, Jack, and Samara refreshing.

Can't they make females look good in armor or something? Can't they make them look good without putting them in extra tight outfits?

Not to my standards.

Female Shepard in armor: her breasts look small but when she's in her dress for Kasumi's Loyalty mission, they look 2x as big.

In DA:O the only armor I really liked was Scale/Splintmail.  In DA2 they have no armors like that specifically for the Female Warrior, all the armor seems designed for the males and just plastered on the female models, cutting off any semblence of being a woman from the neck down.

All the women could be in Chainmail Bikinis for all I care, just as long as they look good wearing it.

Yes, well, be that as it may, that's not what anyone in here has been saying (nor is it something that "Feminists" in general claim either, but that's neither here nor there). You're arguing against a strawman.  Or strawwoman.  Whatever.  As to refreshing....seriously?  Have you somehow managed not to play any other video games since, well, pretty much ever?

I much prefer ME2's style. Lends a lot more individuality to the characters and looks a lot better. (I speak as a hardcore feminist, though)

There you go. Case in point: overgeneralization is rarely, if ever, wise.

Full armor=smart.
Leather clothing=start playing poker with the engineers because I'm not taking you with me on the mission.

Tali's suit is light armor, so I didn't expect it to be heavy metal plates, so she gets a Armor Mission Pass.
Garrus and Grunt, fully armored (we needs helmet toggle and we needs it now!),
Legion, armored, but please fix the hole!

Miranda, armored (well, she is now! thanks to the appearance pack), but still needs a helmet.

Kasumi also has light armor, but unless that hood can deflect bullets, I'm counting her out.
And even if it can, it still leaves her face open to headshots, not smart.

I prefer the ME1 system, where you had casual clothes on the not-dangerous ship environment, but the moment you stepped out the door, you collected your assigned suit of armor and weapons on the way to the airlock.

I also miss the helmet toggle, with Garrus and Grunt having "proper" helmets, I could have turned that on when I wanted them to be fully armored.
I used to do that a lot in ME1, when we were in a non-dangerous cutscene, helmets off, battle situation or expecting trouble, helmets on.

Garrus:"This will punch through their armor!"

Shepard:"Umm Garrus... we like all stopped wearing armor awhile ago bud."

Garrus:"Wait... what? Why?"

Shepard:"It's just not cool. And check out Liara's new sexy outfit! Come on you know you like it bro!"

Garrus:"But Commander what happens if a projectile gets past your shields, or a Krogan starts clubbing you with their fists? What do you do if you get exposed to hazardous environment or a vacuum?"

Shepard:"Dude nobody cares about that nerd stuff. Ha ha ha! And why we would ever fight in space? I mean for reals."

Garrus:"Oh... I guess I see your point Commander. I'll stop wearing armor I guess."

Oh, OK. Hey wait....OP didn't say anything like that either.  Or even imply it.  So, as I said, this is who you're actually talking to:

For me it's not that Miranda, Jack, Samara have "revealing" outfits. It's that they actually wear that stuff into combat.

Look I ain't asking for the return of generic armor that everyone can wear (cause frankly it's unrealistic that suits could be that easily adjusted). I just don't see why character's can't have their individual outfits and individual/unique set of armor. The only thing I saw was that Bioware couldn't apparently be bothered to make more then one outfit per character. Is it really that hard to design even one proper set of armor per a character? I don't get it. There were literally dozens of armor suits in ME1 (and no they weren't just texture swaps). True they only had 7 (and realistically only 5 models) to worry about, but if they can do that surely they can add actual combat attire for each character in ME2.

It's just funny to me people complain about Bioware being lazy (which I don't think they are BTW) about reusing the same base structures over and over again in ME1. Yet everyone ignores they basically only gave each Character one set of clothes this time around. Is that not as bad?

Only having the one one outfit is even lazier. All the generic places in ME1 were temporary outposts or startup colonies. It made sense they all were constructed using the same prefabs. It was mentioned in the game. Even if you don't like, an attempt to explain it was made. There was no attempt to explain the ability of characters to walk through chlorine gas with nothing but an oxygen mask in ME2. The need for armor simple ceased.

People who look for sex are going to see it above everything else. You are the reason why Fox News did a story on something so minimal it is comical the seriousness it receives. OMG side boob; now back to our Hooters girls in the morning.

Anyway, I've never been on a planet that didn't have oxygen on it or out in space, but i would like to have a full suit just for safety.

That's hysterical. In multiple senses.

The only one I was annoyed by was Samara. It seemed completely at odds with her character. I think it would have had a better effect had she dressed different but still had been as badass.

Samara did seem a bit odd. But then Benezia had her bust out as well. Maybe its just something Asari Matriarchs do. That said it did seem somewhat impractical in hazardous environments.

Since I own AAP2, I tend to switch Mranda between her AAP armour (for missions) and her default costume for when she's on the ship. That way she wears something practical in the field and wears 'what she wants' on the ship. I actually sometimes do the same with Tali, though that makes little sense so I often just leave her in her AAP armour.

Basically, I advocate each squadmate having a casual outfit and 1-2 cobat outfits. Possibly one for standard combat and one for hazardous environments. And by that I mean different outfits, not simply recolours.
