I've said it on other threads, bioware should stop making game engines. They do a ****** poor job, and they always require loads of patches. License one like they did for ME (the unreal engine)
I'd say license the RED engine from CD Projekt. It seems to be able to handle seperate weapon animations.
Surely you jest. The Infinity and Aurora engines were great. Sure, they aren't as good as the Unreal engine, but they did their jobs quite well and left enough flexibility for adaptations, particularly the Aurora engine.
But.... using the RED engine would be a good idea for future games.
Yeah, I meant since the Origins engine. Should of wrote "They did a ****** poor job with dao/2" instead.

Oh there's plenty of Bowstrings in Thedas. Unfortunately Varric bought them all to string Bianca. The remainder he rolled into a ball of twine and gave to Merril.
Nah, Loghan took them all when he tried to take over Fereldan.

And this is why you always choose Werewolves over Dalish Elves

I wouldn't mind hearing what was the reason for that, either. Since it's definitely something that can have lot of uses so yes, it is odd they'd put such limitation in the design.TheMadCat wrote...
And I'm curious as to why that'd be the case, they did build their own engine so it seems strange that they'd handicap themselves in that area.

Shh, Sam and Max wouldn't visit such a poor game like DA2. They come around and make clever quips about it sucking.
man. I love Sam and Max. Think I'll get those new chapters i saw around.
"Sam: I haven't seen that much twine since that night in Tokyo in '68."
"Max: Sam, either termites are burrowing through my skull, or one of us is ticking.
Sam: Oops, oh yeah.
[pulls out the scientist's head, which is a bomb]
Sam: Max, where should I put this so it doesn't hurt anyone we know or care about?
Max: Out the window, Sam. There's nothing but strangers out there. "

True! My apologies to Sam & Max! Love them too, and the dialogue, snarky fun.
They need a new engine if they can't make bowstrings.

I've mentioned they should just license an engine, and suggested RED engine by CD Projekt.
I think I shall end all my posts with Sam and Max Quotes.
"Sam: I'm Sam. He's Max. We fight crime.
Max: We also like long walks along the beach"
