Because, you know, that we haven't complained ENOUGH about DA2.

Let's count how many buttons are missing from character's clothing. You know, because it matters.

you know whats worse than complainers?

People who complain about the complainers.

"Max: We finally got the tooth.
Sam: The whole tooth?
Max: Nothing but."

Truly, your wit has beat my own. Because that comeback is 100% not overused and unique.

Really now. Bowstrings? This is so anally overanalyzing the smallest of things.

Bowstrings are serious business for a game like Dragon Age 2, if a relic game like Morrowind can pull it off

Edit: Gonna put this in the OP

Nitpicking the inconsequential and unimportant flaws of Dragon Age 2 requires more creativity than beating on the same old laundry list of Dragon Age 2 flaws that fill up the space of the next Dragon Age novel. It's also more fun and less serious.

You not been to the thread complaining about the lack of boob physics? Or the one complaining that combat is too slow (rofl)?

I figured they all had implants, as silicone doesn't jiggle!

i think I figured it out!

****** get in the way of bow strings, so they kept the huge ****** and removed the bow strings! IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE!

My husband said long and hard (tee hee) okay that was me. But he is a boob man, so he thinks they worked longest on that part of the game, he would have. *smacks husband's head Gibb's style*:P:lol:

Lol.

Really?

They couldn't find a way to keep the killing blow animations yet they made Isabela's boobs bounce?

Well erynnar, you don't want to lose a nipple or side-boob from a bow string now would you?

Bowstrings are all but impossible... NWN1 didn't come with them, but the community fixed that. NWN2 has them too. I think it's simply an "artistic" choice by Bioware never to make any by default.

Sure.

Or are going to deny that all the recycling areas (and map) was "artfully" done? :P

Bow strings are stupid, that is just one more part that can break or be cut by an enemy. The lack of bow strings is engineering genius.

If only they took the time they spent making bowstrings and used it to let you customize your face properly. (Not a bad game but their priorities seemed a bit odd at points)

D2: DKS uses the Gamebyro engine like the Elder Scrolls games, so it's not surprising.

D2: DKS is also the most underrated Action RPG to come out in the last 5 years.

I get a kick out of people who nag on others for pointing out little details, or lack thereof. They apparently haven't heard sayings like "the devil's in the details" or "it's the little things that count", etc.

Little things like bow strings might not seem like something worth wanting in a game, but they do add to the total overall experience a player has. If I'm going to play a game that lets me equip a bow, there had better be a string attached. Otherwise it's just a curved quarterstaff that launches arrows like a Mass Relay.

I'll add my recommendation as well. The game is a lot of fun and has quite a few memorable characters. The lack of a party might scare some people away, and that's too bad. The ability to become a dragon more than makes up for it in my opinion.

As someone pointed out, the character generator is rather simple compared to other RPGs; however the faces provided are decent enough that I never feel the need to go custom. I've played the game as both male and female characters and enjoyed it immensely.

Be careful, Bioware is reading. Their natural reaction to such complaints is not the implementation bowstrings, but rather to remove bows from the game!
