I cannot start the Steam version.  Anyone have any help on this?

I launch it from the Steam Library, it brings up the Splash Screen, I hit Launch, then it loads through Steam BACK to the Splash screen.  It's a loop that won't ever open the game. I tried the bin EXE, same problem.  The game doesn't load ever.

It worked when the game was first released.  I hadn't played in a while but then saw the ME2 offer and what not, and decided to start playing again, but the game doesn't load.

Can someone help me out with this before the ME2 offer expires?

considering you're asking for the steam based version. I would ask on the steam forums. There is a lot of technical guys over there that would probably be able to better direct you on a steam based application that doesn't launch.

I would, but I wasn't registered for their forums and they put you on some waiting list or some nonsense, and I was worried I'd never get a chance to post before the offer expires. I was curious as to whether anyone else had experienced this issue or not and also browsed these forums.

I tried reinstalling it via their "Delete Local Files" selection to no avail.  The game worked fine up to a week after release.
