ive been messing around with the toolset, trying to make a custom character to play through the campaign with and cant figure out how to script in starting as a specific pc on a module so i can save as this character and then play in the campaign by selecting a premade character. or i guess whats the easiest way to play as a custom character such as a kobold or lich? any help would be greatly appreciated

I believe you will need to add the custom resources specifically to all the campaign modules (there are 7 in the OC and 3 in each of the expansions) and then save each as a new module.  Unless one of the custom content gurus wanders by I would bet you would get a faster response by posting this in one of builder forums asking how to merge custom content into a vanilla module.  You'll need to find a hakpak first that offers the custom races you want to play (like the PRC, for example).

i was thinking i could just make a module that started you out as a specific character, save that character, then just start a regular module and "select premade character" but it sounds like this may be a little out of my league thank you for the response though ill see if i can figure it out

Leto will do what you want. Make a bakup of your character file first!
