They should totally do it... but let's have a human, please. Not everybody is into monsters.

Hey now, the Welsh aren't that bad.

I also think they should make Aveline Romanceable and as for Donnic nothing like a love triangle but instead of two people fighting for your affections you would be one of the two trying to win Avelines Heart.

I think its safe to say that whether you play as a male or female character, most players would rather romance a female character, and right now things are totally out of balance, 3 male LIs and only 2 female LIs, so hopefully that will be corrected soon. Shale would be a good option, but somebody entirely new would be cool too. Just gotta wait and see :) .

Where did you come up with that? I definitly don't think it's safe to say gamers prefer female LI's, have you seen all the threads dedicated to Fenris/Anders, seems like a lot more than Isabella/Merrill.

Although it might just seem like a pot dream, a female tal'vashoth with a chakram sounds awesome for an LI.
Add in an equally hot female elf sidekick for this tal'vashoth and Bioware can has all my moneyz, really no joke. :wizard:

I can't really imagine Bioware adding a Hawke/Qunari Romance for the same reason as there is no Hawke/Dwarf Romance Options.

So like I said earlier If more are added they will either be Humans or Elves most likely lets make a list of potental New Love Intrests I will Start the List here are my choices.

Possable New Female Human Love Intrests:
1.Aveline Vallen
2.A Chasind Princess

Possable New Elf Love Intrests:
1.Velanna
2.Ariane
3.Shianni

I still hope Bioware makes Aveline romanceable in DLC they could add new Party Banter about Hawke and Aveline maybe even modify Avelines Codex.

Here are two possable ways the Hawke /Aveline Romance could be done.

1.They could add a new Companion quest for Aveline in which Hawke could admit their feelings for Aveline.

2.They could add some new Dialog choices during her Companion Quests like during the Long Road
where you could actually initate the Hawke/Aveline Romance.

She's a warrior Tal'Vashoth, trying to make a life forherself in a world that fears and hates her
She's an upbeat elf, looking for adventure in a world she barely knows
Together, they fight crime.

...OK sign me up for that XD

I know it's currently highly unlikely, but I'd love to be able to pair my Hawke up with Cassandra in a future DLC. My feelings are one of hope rather than expectation, though.

Well they did give us girls sebastian....maybe they'll give you a chaste romance. A qunari women that's like "I'd have sex with you, but the force would probably kill you"

"Us girls"? I'm confused, do most people pick a Hawke of their own gender and romance the opposite gender? I don't see what the romance options have to do with your own gender, but maybe that's just me because I like playing both genders equally and prefer gay romance options anyway. It's just weird to lump a gender group together because all my friends who play Dragon Age have first played as the opposite gender anyway!

I blew past that in reading it as "us Lady!Hawkes".  Apparently my baseline assumption of gender neutrality was overly optimistic.

My male Hawkes are all gay anyway, as neither of the exisitng female romances appeal to me, so I suppose it couldn't hurt to add another that may lure one of my guys to the hetero side.

Hah mine too! Though all my characters, guy or girl, take the tumble with Isabela. Just not the type I'd want to stay with though.

Back to topic:

Bi-sexual Qunari please ^_^

Definitely more female LI's and not juggernaut LI's. Polygamy should be allowed. It's just a game after all.
What about Bioware has a voice actor/ess play the LI part but let us pick the visual character traits so we can make the LI look how we prefer. Would be easy. We put it all in at the beginning of the game around the time we make our PC and the game places the LI were they should be. Then the playe could pick if they wanted it male or female and everyone would be happy, regardless of PC gender. The other NPCs would act as they normally would and we could have multiple LI's in each playthrough.

New Love Intrest Idea
Name:Peaches
class:Rogue
Weapon:Crossbow Named "Hawke"
Romanceble-Male Mage Hawke
Personality-Protective/Possessive of Hawke
She sees all other females as potental rivals for Hawkes affections and treats them as such.

Premise:
Peaches decides to go to Kirkwall and get her man Hawke before he finds a girl there.
And she will have him because its their destiny at least thats the way she see's it.
Too bad Hawke doesn't feel the same way.

aren't you all happy with the already boring LI's in the game?

The thing that really bothers me about Dragon Age 2 aside from no Aveline Romance is the whole Hawke is the most important person in the Dragon Age Universe Claims that were drilled into us by the DA Team and to be honest Hawke is not Important at all in Dragon Age 2 the most pivotal People are Meredith & Anders they started the War between the Chantry and the Mages Hawke just was present and I can't really call that worthy of being labeled the most important person in the Dragon Age Universe. To justify those claims we are going to need alot of deep and compelling Story DLC to bring Hawke the actual clout needed to have that title.

Anyway back on Topic I can see Bioware making a few new LI's but as a rule I figure the Lists will be like this.

Possable Dragon Age 2 Love Intrests:
1.Humans
2.Elves

Unlikely Dragon Age 2 Love Intrests:
1.Dwarfs
2.Qunari

I Still hope Bioware makes Aveline Romanceable either via with DLC or maybe an Expansion I actually was really sad doing the Long Road seeing her get with that Loser Donnic I actually considered quiting the Game Then and there she was in my opinion the most intresting Female in the Game and she wasn't even a Romance Option.

Now I have nothing against neither Isabella or Merrill but I just liked Aveline more than them personally I was tore up when I saw her get with Donnic and I didn't get with no one after that stayed single hoping for an DLC that made Aveline an option or gave more choices.

The main thing I figure is if Bioware did decide to add new Female/Male Love Intrests the will no doubt be only Humans or elves Because it would take more work for an Hawke/Dwarf or Hawke/Qunari Romance mainly because of the Love scenes would be more difficult than the Hawke/Human or Elves which is one of the reasons why there where now Dwarf LI's in the first place in my opinion.
Another thing to consider is that Bioware has two options for New LI's that being either bringing back Characters from Origins and also creating new characters.

Anyway back on topic here are some suggestions:
Possable New Love Intrests:
1.Velanna
2.Athenril
3.Ariane
4.Shianni

I think that we need Dwarf Lovin back I just love me some Sigrun oh yeahImage IPB

Also make Aveline Romanceable either by DLC or an Expansion
Please Bioware Pretty please with sugar on top.Image IPB

Not to sound negative, but according to Sten female qunari cannot be warriors, this is only reserved for the males in their culture. Or am I mistaken here and Bioware changed this?

Female Qunari, yes. Female Tal-Vashoth - no. If they're no longer following the Qun, they can do whatever the hell they want, I suppose.

You suppose, that doesn't mean is true. Some people wish that would happen, I don't care and I did found sten in DAO very attractive, and Arishock has a very nice body.. of course I find most men's attractive lol.

Any way A female qun been a warrior it could happen, if  it is the only child of a very strong leader. I don't have a clue about qun ranks, sorry.

Now a mage qun maybe she was lost in the wood, similar to tarsan story? :P
