Hey guys,
So as crazy as it may seem, I have yet to buy Dragon Age 2. I know that the game's been getting crazy mixed reviews, leaning towards the side of negative, however, I still want to determine whether or not I want to give the game a shot.
My determinant? What the advantages are brought to DA2 with transferred games from DA:O? I want the full scoop, so if you've got story details (like certain characters from past games only returning if you transfer a DA:O file), please be sure to put up a spoiler for the others who may read this topic.
(On that note, DO the characters/party members from past games only return if you transfer a DA:O save? Can anyone at least answer me that?)

You get cameos really, nothing really special for importing. I was pleased though at the extra dialog for Merrill and the dalish if you played a Dalish warden.

There's really not much, it was somewhat disappointing. But I would still recommend the game. As long as you go in remembering that this is not Origins 2, you should have fun.

Very few 'real' consequences to your actions in DA:O unfortunately. If your main lived/died and who was king/queen are the only ones you will notice much. Oh, and if you killed any of your companions (ta da!) they are magically resurrected in DA2. SURPRISE!
