If release date in Europe is the 6th and postal delivery takes 2 days for instance...do you think retailers will send copies at 4th or will the people who use postal service get their copies several days after release dates? Anyone has any insight into this?
Do retailers offset release date by delivery time.

like they said it depends, where I order from I usually get preorders some day earlier. Wich is a blessing when the release date is on a friday... no postal service being done on weekends.

i get mine as early as the 5th. my retailer advertised street date as 5th and they advertise sending preorders a day early to get here in time... can't wait

well the store i pre ordered they say they will ship the game before the release date nov 6th so it can be in my home at 6th so now i just hope............

Well I ordered mine for game.co.uk with international shipping 3-5 day. What's your guess when I'll get this?

well they will probalby ship it a day before release and maybe even sooner for uk deliveries? not sure check you credit card though if you see that they charged you then it means they start shiping it.

They said they will try to ship products before the strike if possible...hopefully they'll ship it on 5th.

Amazon.de says they're going to send it on the 4th, so I will recieve it most likely on the 5th November.Often if you preorder something, Amazon.de guarantees that you will recieve it on the day of release.

The only one i know that aims to deliver on release date is Game, which isn't effected by the strike apparently. Meaning you might get it earlier if your lucky with Game, i think they send them out as soon as they get copies in.
