In my current playthrough I am unable to achieve "friendly" status with Zevran. The actual approval is working properly meaning that I can get to +100 and that he receives all the approval bonuses, but the status is stuck at "Warm". Does anyone know how to fix this bug? Thanks!

I don't think this is a bug. There is a random encounter in Denerim after you call the Landsmeet. Only after that encounter will he then go from warm to friendly or from interested to love.

warm? Ah, u need to get the enemy ambush in denerim during the landsmeet quest.
U need to travel to different locations in denerim to trigger as zevran will not give u that quest.
