Every time I try to export the level so that I can work on it as an area, I get this:

"No light map atlases found. Using legacy non-atlased lightmap data instead."

I have the option of cancelling or "continuing anyway" but I'd really like to know what this means for my area if I do. I'm a newbie to the toolset, but that doesn't mean I haven't done everything I can to get it working. I've found no mention of this in any of the tutorials, troubleshooting pages or other people's questions on the forums and I'm sick of digging around and coming up with nothing. I've got python set up correctly, I've followed all the rights steps for lighting. What on earth is going on? What have I done wrong?

----------------

EDIT: five seconds later I found this:
The first time you render lightmaps on an object you will get missing atlas warnings.  These are expected, ignore them
Sorry to bother everyone.

I'm having the same issue. If anyone could help us, that would be great.

Really, don't worry about this message.

AFAIK it means there's no .erf file, which is expected for a new level (and will happen every time if you follow the conventional wisdom about deleting all old output and temporary files before rendering lightmaps).
