I didn't think that came from a credible source

Oh it's not confirmed? I thought it was.

Oh well. Still hoping she wears something heavier, to stay true to her being a badass frontline soldier.

Yeah, me too. I'm just irked with people going on how 3 is going to suck because one picture in one article of one torso of one popular character months before the release of the game ruins EVERYTHING

Agreed. That alone wouldn't ruin the game for me. Just like Miranda's ass, though surprisingly annoying, didn't ruin ME2 for me either

Is she really wearing make-up? I.. I can't tell. What does make-up look like?

I never understood Miranda's breasts. They look like they are small but apparently they are large? Is it physically possible for them to be in that shape and position on the chest?

Give her proper armor with helmet, as well for other characters or no 50 bucks from me BiowEAr...

...just 10 bucks later :D

Ugh, seeing that larger picture made me really worried. Cleavage, light armor, seriously stupid hair and horrible make-up. If they can do that to Ashley I wonder what else have they butchered.

Edit: Just cancelled my preorder. I'm gonna wait for more news.

Wow, I would hate to see what happened if they changed some gameplay mechanics if you cancel because Ashley isn't wearing that pink armor.

Because we have so little information out of the game yet. it's a representation of it. They have clearly thrown away her previous character of sensible military woman and went for over-sexualizing her instead. If they are willing to do that one can only wonder what else have they changed and dare I say "streamlined".

Doubt it. Bioware seems to incapable of doing women without oversexualization these days.

Please shut the holy **** up about the armor/clothes. This isn't a fashion simulator game. stfu. They wear what Bioware puts them in, and it'll be a lot better than walking around in full armor like dumbasses.

She's a Asari. She was oversexualized enough already.

Back to my point of "first female character in the game? Lets give her pink armor while everybody else walks around in black!" Ash isn't pure of sexualization.

Yes, lets make everyone run in bikinis. That would be nice, right? Seriously though I already said that because we know so little, that one picture of Ashley says a lot about what direction they're going with ME3.

And I'm not pretending. I did cancel my preorder. I might preorder it again if I get good news (Like Ashley having her bun back and proper armor in battle).

It's pink heavy armor. I don't see any sexualization in it.

Then you're not a Mass Effect fan in the first place if to you there is nothing of value to the franchise except Ashley's hair. Why did you even preorder the game in the first place if all you wanted was to look at hair? Just google "hairstyles" and you can scroll through pages of them.

I can guarantee to you right now that Ashley will not be in armor, nor have a bun in her hair. And for good reason. So you might as well ditch this forum and forget about the game now.

There is a reason you aren't a character designer.

Thats because you're thinking of exploitation in terms of sex, but she's playing the damsel in distress role in pink armor, to me, thats gender exploitation.

and it was medium armor lol

Having them run around in catsuits and bikinis seems more like a fashion sim dude

Way to miss the point man.  Also nice insults thrown in there for measure too.
What they are doing now is not coherent character design.

She was just a lone survivor. I don't see a damsel in distress there.

And this reason is...what exactly? So the reapers stare at her curves in awe while we take them out?

Only if you strip away the fact hat she's the only survivour of an synthetic alien invasion wearing combat armour and did a bad ass fast forwaded matrix-style lunge and sharp-shot a couple of floating robotic machine guns into oblivion. WITH A PISTOL.

In a completely unrelated matter, my Fem!Shep and Ash wore Hydra armour. Wrex wore Phoenix just for the lulz.

Oh I completely 100% get the point. And it's absolutely stupid.

Like I said, Ashley will not be in armor. Period. So forget about the game and scram.
