Oh I completely 100% get the point. And it's absolutely stupid.
Like I said, Ashley will not be in armor. Period. So forget about the game and scram.
No you don't get the point. I still have hope that bioware has some sense of pride and does not throw away storyline coherency.

Omg guys if Garrus don't get polka dots
I'm totally canceling my preorder. I don't care about storyline, I only
care about their outfits.
I don't care about her clothes but how her character has changes as seen by her clothes. Ashely in bodysuit does not in any shape or form fit into her character.

Sucks to be poor, doesn't it?
It certainly does.

Though I want to say, maybe the fact that she always got crap assignments wasn't her family but the fact that she was the only person wearing pink armor. Not very proffessional

Maybe the Sirta Foundation was paying her for doing all the publicity.

How do you know it doesn't fit into her character? Your not the one who created her Bioware is, just cause it doesn't fit your preconceived notion doesn't mean it not something she would do.

I see some deep hurting.
I just think everyone here just don't want Ash do be associated with the queen of biatch, aka Miranda.
Not blaming them for it either.

Just because bioware suddenly decides that Ashley is okay with running around in bikini doesn't make it good character development.

Again I say your fitting in your opinion of what Ashely would and wouldn't wear or how she would and wouldn't act. It's not bad character development if it's part of who she always was even if we didn't see it. Plus we aren't talking about a bikini we're talking about an outfit that we can only see the top of in one screen shot months before the game is released and her looks.

Deep annoyance with you retards. I repeat: There is a reason you are not character designers.

And when I give a flying ****, I'll let you know.
Point is, the fans don't like it, and if BioWare's going to do fanservice, they better do it right.

Oh it's not confirmed? I thought it was.
Oh well. Still hoping she wears something heavier, to stay true to her being a badass frontline soldier.
The part where you say the pic only showing her on-board clothing.

I'm a fan, I like it. And guess what, I'm fan enough to not cancel my preorder over a hair style.

That screenshot could be from anything. Hell, maybe she dressed up for shep's trial? Maybe if she was your LI in 1, you get to go on a date? stop freakin out.
Nope, it's the outfit she wears throughout the game.

It's obvious. What other character had different outfits at different points in ME2 besides alternates? They make 1 character model, it's too difficult to make multiple models for the same character.
It may be redesigned leading up to the game if they decide they don't like it, but it's pretty certain it's not just a 'sometimes outfit.' If that's her outfit, it's what she'll wear throughout.

But didn't they do this in ME1? For the human characters anyway. They had whatever armor you equipped them with for missions and their alliance fatigues while on the ship. Not sure why they couldn't do this again.

Wait a minute. They're updating characters appearances for a new installment? And some people don't agree with the new looks. So unexpected.
