Unfortunately due to unwanted publicity, Fornax's further development was closed. That being said, the project Fornax is being dropped however another project will be picked up in its place by myself and anyone who wishes to contribute. I doubt anyone here desires to, however, throwing it out there. Feel free to send me a PM over the forum here either way.

I've seen Fornax before, definitely not my thing, however I really like the effort and the work all those guys put into it, they are fans of the game as well and in their own way they expressed their love for the series. I feel its wrong to bash their project -despite the topic or style- just because it "offends" some people that UNTIL NOW learned about it existence... There's a lot of nasty, very wrong things on the internet, and they are not removed just because they offend a part of the public, even if it's a majority.
Grow up, people, just look away if you don't like it. No need to play the "I'm a pure person, the obscene must burn!" role. It's pretty cheap.

I am on the Fornax blogspot and i can not download or see anything. Nothing can beat 3 guys 1 hammer, that video will push you to the limits straight away. I gave up straight away, i thought it was fake at first until later on.

Second, people crave things that they will find disturbing/horrible. Ask any psychologist, they would tell you the same. Curiosity didn't just kill the cat. So your argument that people shouldn't be offended by looking at something they knew would be gross doesn't hold. That's why they say "you can't look away from a car crash." It's bad, it's horrible, but you have to watch. It's human nature.

Lastly, no one said anything along the lines of "the obscene must burn!". They said it was weird and strange, but no one attacked the rights of people in their own homes to do whatever the hell they want within the law.

I'm just saying that you can't go like: "Please do not even GOOGLE for it if you wish to retain your sanity" if you've looked for it. Even when it's out of curiosity, you know you're going to find stuff related to sex, and SPECIALLY knowing that there's aliens on it, its obvious there's going to be weird things and what not other crazy fetish.

When I first found out about it and saw it for myself, there were things that made me think "WTF" but not for that I bashed the guys. I respect their efforts and their iniciative to be the first in actually doing something like that in a magazine format.

You have to take things for what they are, and that was just fanart for mature watchers. I don't think all the drama it's detractors have been creating is necesary at all. It's just idiotic, bad press.

I think some of the comments here pretty much were as pretentious as that. But there's no point in arguing that.

(2) Casey Hudson tells the entire ME fanbase in an interview that a real life Fornax exists.  He tells us "Not to go look at it, unless that's the kind of thing you want to see."
(3) Everyone in the ME fanbase goes to look at it.
(4) The Fornax "publishers" take it down.

Dudes/Dudettes who run the Fornax site: you should have replaced step (4) with:

I'm trying to resist dumping on the Fornax guys for an action that seems to be born out of extreme lack of security and/or thin-skinedness. Either that or they're trying to avoid a bandwidth overload, but that seems less likely.
