The funny thing about Free-DLC from Valve is, they actually release new things, has no one yet mentioned here that most DLC-Items are actually copied from DAO or if they felt like it retextured a bit?
Legion of Dead armor, Shield of Orlais ...
Some rings any idiot can make in the editor in a matter of seconds ...
Shh! You'll be categorised as one of those entitled sorts if you keep this up.

Assuming 1 million players buy the set ...do you really think it the amount of work time that was put in it is worth $5 million? Hell even if you only charge $1 and only 50,000-80,000 people buy it that's enough to pay a programmer's salary for a year.
I miss the good old day where additional PC DLC would be release for free to encourage more people to purchase the game(Thank goodess Portal 2 is keeping that trandition). Now it feels like a microtranaction game even after you already paid the full price for the game.

Only if by 'most' you mean the one suit of armor you listed. All the other suits are completely new both in model and texture.
As for the accessory items, only pc-using idiots can make them in the editor.

What are the companion items...? Weapons that now level up? Sunnie made a mod for that already (the only downside being she decided to swap models around for some reason, so they no longer look unique). Or their own special rings and belts? How lazy, they don't even change the characters' looks in the slightest. That's just cheap. The fact that they even bothered to make it seems ridiculous.
I bought all the DLC for DAO, and bought all the DLC (barring outfits) for ME2, but DA2 is looking ridiculous. And I'd been trying to forgive it.
EDIT! Someone got screenshots showing aesthetics of the new gear. Worth paying through the nose? You decide:

You do realise that as far as charging for the content, that is up to Microsoft. Bioware don't really get a say in it.KLUME777 wrote...

Well I want to thank you all for your input. As I have guessed at first glance, this crap excuse for DLC will not make me take DA2 off the shelf.
Wonder if anything will? I know one thing, I will not buy another DA DLC or game without extreme due dilligence and that is the Truth.

If you think its money-grabbing, or don't like it, DON'T BUY IT. No one cares about your witty comments about EA.

Then don't sell me a game that is only half (if that) done!
Next time you get your car fixed, or go to the dentist, make sure they only do half the job for you but charge you the full price. Then you can go home, wait for a few months and pay for the brakes or fillings to finish the job that should have been included in the original price of the work.
Doesn't make much sense there does it. Any other business would go out of business doning this $#!+... Gaming companies need to wake up and stop making crap that requires an extra $100 on top of the "full game price" to complete what should have been put in there in the first place. And the only way we as consumers can pound it through thair thick skulls is to hit them where it hurts. In the wallet.
It's easy to say "don't like it, DON'T BUY IT" but remember my examples above. When they bring out a DLC for the other half of this game, you'll need to buy it **evil grin from EA** to experience a more full gaming experience that you should have been able to have from day 1...
Huff... huff... huff... Everyone needs a good rant every once in a while.
