Its incredulous that EA are still trying to milk this game, even with all the crap its getting.

What, no way, a company trying to make profit? Such preposterousness! Quick, to the Batmobil! We have to let the world know!

What, no way, a company trying to milk its fanbase with half-assed DLC? Such preposterousness! Quick, to the Batmobile! We have to let the world know!

Point?

With that out of the way, nobody is actually forcing you to buy them, just as it was with the Alternate Appearance packs for ME. Those who want--and can--will buy them, those who do not--and cannot--won't. Do try to deal with it. Or continue crying yourself a river.

You know if a company don't waste time making DLCs, they could be making a god damn expansion pack or a sequel or even patches.  This is the same as mulitplayer in a meant to be single player game.  You would have to use ressources for something not everyone would appericate and  risk alienating others, put most importantly taking away features that was in the single player drawing board but have no time or resource for because of mutiplayer.

That makes sense. Though, to be fair, I hardly think it's possible to further alienate those other people. At least hardly more than DA2 itself did. :P

@above, That actually doesn't look too bad at all.

Good find OdanUrr (if true). Ah I see the Companions part is companion specific items. More stuff in those packs that I'd have guessed, but still nothing I'd pay for unless some truly amazing unique appearances on the gear were involved. (Like a 'Dagger' that looked like a rapier)

Well, I do not presume to know what the actual contents of this pack are but, now that companion armor is restricted, it seems fairly obvious that at some point they'll release something like ME2's Alternate Appearance Pack. Whether this is it, remains to be seen.

This is what I expect will happen sooner or later. Of course this will ****** me off in no small amount if and when they do this for obvious reason.

You're thanking them for stripping content out of the game in order to sell it to you...?

This is why the video game industry is turning to garbage. Thank you.

I don't know what everyone is b*tchin' about, its friggin' optional content. "Blah blah blah obvious cash grab". And I just bought it for my Sexbox 360. *licks console case*

Strange that there's no official announcement yet and no screenshots whatsoever. No doubt the armour will be of the generic variety, hence the silence.

Quick question, perhaps Bioware is unaware of this release? There have been no announcements so far. I would expect them to at least mention it in passing, "Oh, and by the by, we'll be releasing this item pack tomorrow..."

How does the armour look?  Some screennshots would be nice.

There's a thread on the other forum from someone who bought it complaining that the armor isn't wearable by their companions. So its out on X-box at least.

No screenies though. If it doesn't have custom looks I'd be surprised if they bothered offering it on the PC side. Since we can just mod them in.

Just camping here for screenies.

I 'd laugh if it turns out to be generic armor.

My net connection is crap and screenshots are not really an option on a 360 unless someone knows somethingI don't.

May be Bioware are tipping their toes in the post da2 release dlc market very hesitantly. Choosing to do it via Xbox first. It does seem a bit shoddy that the gear in the game(vast majority) doesnt improve with levels but all this gear does. Add to that the no appearance of a toolset,
golly im depressed.

The Fadeshear, I know its DLC, but it was my favorite weapon in the damn game since so many demons would just pop up it was great to chuck it on my Sword n Board Hawkes or give it Aveline as her main weapon. I liked that it levelled up and the bonus against demons would get crazy high towards the end game.

lol, do me a favor, if you're going to be presumptuous, do not direct comments at me. think anything you want, but you are qualified to tell me what I am buying.

Don't be offended mate, he is most probably just a PC gamer and does not know how to communicate with society.
