Seconded.
Wasn't tez19 banned from the forums/games awhile back, with these same PC gamers defending him? Maybe it was a different tez19..

Physical appearance, not stats. Stats are good too. There is a lvl 7 armor and a lvl 15 armor, the l7 armor looks more like medium rogue armor, with a little bit of metal. The l15 armor is a red robe, but it looks a bit more like a cloak. I prefer the L15 armor, it looks great.

That's why console games are what they are and the devs know that. For example, when Oblvion came out on console, it was just a matter of a few months before three DLCs and the Shivering Isles expansion came along and altogether cost more than the actual game itself combined. Not only that check this out: Oblivion can be gotten on Xbox.xom for $29.99 (still overpriced when one can get the PC GOTY edition for like $15 now). While there, scroll down and you'll see the Shivering Isles expansion selling for 2400 MS points, that's $30 for those points and the game is over 5 years old now.
Amazing!
They also released a horse armor DLC for $2 that basically just gives you one piece of armor for your horse a couple of weeks after the game came out.
Just sayin'.

If you knew anything then you would know that Bethesda makes a running joke about that all the time as they accept it was a bad idea and a bit silly._Motoki_ wrote...

The thing i hated about the horse armour was they forced you to buy it because without it the game was unplayable

Sarcasm clarificaton: Are you suggesting DA2 is somehow unplayable without the items on this DLC?
Or am I just seeing a point where there isn't one?

So... BioWare saw the flaw in their lack of customization across npcs and pc?Dr Bawbag wrote...

Or, will this be a cheap addon, which only adds two new items for each class?NOTE: THIS ALL-class ITEM PACK INCLUDES THE CONTENT OF THE MAGE ITEM
PACK, ROGUE ITEM PACK, AND WARRIOR ITEM PACK, EACH OF WHICH ARE ALSO
AVAILABLE SEPARATELY. Have it all with this combined collection of arms,
armor and accessories for you and your followers.

The questionable business ethics are still there.
Don't like crime? Don't go out at night and don't get added to the crime statistics.
Interesting reasoning.

Its not enough to get me to give a damn about this game. BioWare only added one to two new items per npc.OdanUrr wrote...

The above link provides a list of the items that come with this pack. Here's hoping there's some truth in it.

I don't care about this DLC, I am sure most people don't either.
But I will be excessively annoyed if Bioware throws some appearance backs at us, because that will tell in no uncertain terms that they took away customizations from your team mates in an effort to sell people appearance backs.

Dont you think that people should get the same game experince for the money they paid for the game? I dont have a problem with quest DLCs but paying money just so you have better gear? It seems to me that if it continues this way we will soon have 3 types of the main game selling: Ultra premium with for triple the money in which you cant die because your character has gear that levels up with him and dont have to loot anything, some medium type where there is some gameplay and finally a game for the poor people who cant afford paying money for aditional content.
This is the way facebook games work and I really hope "regular" games wont start using the same concept. Just the whole idea of getting better items in game if you pay more... I really hope this is not a direction games are moving towards.
