Figures this would be stickied, only more of a reason NOT to buy it.

You can now learn more about the new Dragon Age 2 Item Packs on teh DA2 Add-Ons page HERE :)

They are now available for PC and Xbox 360 and will be available for PSN once their system is back on line.

You just had to include daggers that looked like Cutlasses on the rogue set didnt you. *starts cursing like Roman Moroni*Image IPB

Finally some 'daggers' that don't look incredibly retarded or rehashes of daggers from the first game. yay

This DLC wins one Internet.

Personally I stopped caring about gear after act-II.
This was because the super exciting combat that could be compared to gouging your eyes out with rusty icecream scoop.

Second because well... Companion armors...

So it turned out to be an ok somewhat interactive story to me with painfully dull combat bits , that actually remind of JRPG`s random encounters much with teleporting enemies?

We really are going the way of mass effect arent we? Anyone else feel like we're due appearance packs too! Those could be awesome though....

I was hoping for a better "first" dlc - which could've 'appeased' the angry fans a little.

Bioware is still in complete denial.

I draw the line at paying for high rez NPCs!

edit: What I originally posted is a bit pointless.

Judging by a limited exposure from the official page, some of the Hawke specific armor and weapons actually use a unique model. It can be of some value to aethetics junkies (like me, sadly). Still, I'd need to see the screenshots of all the appearances in game before making a decision.

Not at all enthusiastic about the whole deal, however. It is definately NOT the kind of dlc I'd go oohing and aahing about. Heh.

Is this for real?

I can not believe Bioware just went there.

Actually... I'm surprised that it took BiowarEA so long to get there. I had expected that an appearence pack would come way earlier. Item pandering FTW  :wizard:

Yes, I'm cynical these days.

I'm DLC jaded, I've spent too much on pointless items and will not buy this, especially as I'm struggling to finish playthrough 3 (which is very unlike me).
It's got to add to the story, anything less than that holds very little appeal.

All the best to those who like this though, I'm all for everyone getting a bit of what they want.

Am I the only one who would have preferred to have had the time and resources that where used to create this DLC instead go into fixing the many game-breaking bugs and other problems that continue to plague DA2 even as I type this?

No? Just me?

I'm sure its not just you. But speaking only for myself, I'm somewhat glad that the character art team doing these new armor pieces didn't spend time debugging the game instead of the programmers.

True. But there is more to it than that.

Programmers actually had to code it into the game.

Q&A had to check for any bugs , and other gameplay issues. But I take your point.

I don't know what everyone is b*tchin' about, its friggin' optional content.

Probably because the game was released with game breaking bugs (some rather obvious and makes you wonder what they did to test it), and regardless of how you feel about it (liking or not liking the more action, less RPG style they opted for), the bugs, the reused areas etc... Make it seem like they were spending time to input countless DLCs to milk your money away instead of working on the actual game... :(

Its incredulous that EA are still trying to milk this game, even with all the crap its getting.

What, no way, a company trying to make profit? Such preposterousness! Quick, to the Batmobil! We have to let the world know!

Yeah, we're haters.

It's like having a car with an engine that sometimes catches on fire, brakes that have a tendency to not work, and steering that is almost completely uncontrollable.

When I confront the car company with these problems, they elect to sell me leather seats at a bargain price. Great! Now I can sit in leathery comfort as I crash and kill myself! Yay!

Yeah. We're haters<_<
