I am preparing to run a tabletop RPG set in Thedas, and needed to infodump some of the setting's features to the players.  I could do all-text handouts, but... experience says they won't stick well.

So, in glorious magic marker color with sensitive and nuanced stick figure portrayals, I give you:

Ancient History 101

Magic 101

Links go to two SFW PDFs hosted on Google Docs.

Accidentally copying in an extra space will mess with tiny.cc!

Thank you, elenilote!  Should be working now.

So long as you don't start laying down BMI rules and saying that I can't create a female character taller than 5.10... What do I have to do to sign up?

@Maria13, ohhhh, I thought you meant play with markers and stick figures! XD Sorry, it's a pen-and-paper IRL game and I don't think you're local to me.

No I already did that... A long time ago.

Those are fantastic!  I'm hoping to run a tabletop DA soon.  Please may I have permission to use them?

What system are you using?
With a background as wonderful as that, I'd go with something fast and unintrusive like FUDGE, Warriors & Warlocks (derived from Mutants & Masterminds), d6 (West End's version), 1st edition WFRP, or Big Eyes, Small Mouth.

We're going to use QAGS (Quick-Ass Gaming System). First Ed because it's free! :) I've never used it before, but it certainly looks simple enough.

Although I am working up the spell trees (and hopefully the warrior/rogue specs, eventually) into 7th Sea-style Knacks to build some sorceries and Swordsman Schools with, on the off-chance that we get to run a more extended campaign later.

(I know there's a Dragon Age RPG out there, but... gosh darn it, I know roll and keep and I like it!)
