So who is it? I've been curious to find out, especially since we're coming to the close of the trilogy. Someone on this forum said she was a Russian model, although I don't know how true that is. So come on Bioware, who is it?!?!

I don't think it's "a random person". Just like Sheploo, they picked the model for sure from some model agencys list. Your best bet is finding out which agencies have Sheploo on their list, and e-mail them asking if any of their other models have done jobs for Bioware/EA.

EDIT:Since it's likely they picked all face models from the same model agency.

Probably the best bet is to figure out which model agency they used to find their models and do a bit of sleuthing.

yeah but i reaaallly didn't find her attractive in game...but in that pic is another story...in game she wasn't butt ugly but in comparison ro other faces in ME1 and ME2 she surely got the shortest straw

Possibly or it could be through Model Mayhem (if they're different). Model Mayhem has Rana's (Samara/Morinth face model) pictures up there.

I was thinking of checking them. But they have so many people. Victorria Johnson is on there to. So maybe she's on there as well. I'd still like to hear something from Bioware before I commit to searching through thousands of pages lol.

Meh. I always assumed that Ash's model was hispanic, for some reason.

I'm pretty sure the devs have confirmed that Ash is of Hispanic descent.

I do believe she is of Mediterranean descent. Don't remember where I read that though.

Rana McCanear wasn't that big either. She said it herself. She's just starting out, and they used her. But at least we know her name.

This seems a crazy idea, but are we sure that 'photo' is actually of a real woman, not a hi-res digital composite? IIRC artists sometimes pick and choose from direct scans of faces and composites, or heavy modifications. The dude who provided the base face for the G-Man in HL2 doesn't look anything like the G-Man, and Gordon Freeman was made up of about 5 dudes.

She has a white cap in her head for preventing the hair interfering the face capturing. I think it's safe to say that it's just one model.
