New item packs for Warriors, Rogies or mages are now available as DLC. You can purchase one class pack for 240 points/$3 or buy all three for 400 points/$5. Each packs contain powerful new weapons and armor for Hawke (per class),  and new items for followers.

These packs are now available for Xbox 360 and PC. Available for Playstation 3 as soon as possible.

You can learn more about these packs and see some of the new armors on the Dragon Age 2 Add-Ons page.

The Warrior Armor looks fun, but I don't buy DLC for games that I don't enjoy.

Are they top-tier? Those items I mean. No info in description.

Uh oh, looks awesome, but I can hear the screams from here.

I'm sure a different team than patching works on this stuff.

Sweet!

Those weapons and armor look great. Nice to see some DLC for DA2.

Looks cool, but I'm only interested in story DLC.

Really? We complain of the main game only containing items sharing the same look and you respond by charging us extra for this? Bad taste.

So... $5 bucks for some more items? Really?

I begin to understand why you guys refused to release a tool-set update.    lol.

Definitely top tier stuff. Don't have time to post all the stats though.

Nice pack, but I think it's too expensive for a couple items.
160BW points for each individually and 240BW points for the three of them would be acceptable but 240BW points for each and 400BW points for the entire pack seems too much for me.
I think I'll wait for a story DLC.

I have a question:

If I don't have any "points" how do I get the DLC's for PC? hmm

And people say DA2 isn't a Mass Effect 2 rip off with swords. When do we get the alternate appearance pack? I know I can't wait to pay top dollar for the absolute bare minimum of effort. Which of course you can only get away with once you throw the modding community out in the cold so you don't have to actually produce content worthy of purchase.

It's quite a few items, all of which seem to have new models and textures. For example, the warrior set comes will armor, an axe, a sword, and a shield. For the prices you quoted (I assume Mass Effect packs are the reference point) you'd get a few guns or retextured armor.

It's your 5 dollars, just wanted to point out that it's some fairly nice stuff in terms of quality they've designed. Completely optional for anyone, but nice to see options available.

You buy the points, then use the points to buy the DLC.

It's a stupid system, I know.

But hey, so is selling in-game items for real world cash.

I'd need to see the stats on these items. Are they Act 1 items like most of the stuff so far (besides Black Emporium purchases)? Act 2 could use some more items. I've already played through 3 times though and finishing my 4th where I think the game will rest until we see an Act 4 DLC/Expansion pack.

I'm guessing this means just the weapons can be equipped by followers and not the armor, right? Ha, that would be too good to be true.
