can someone provide information on if this pack makes your character overpowered and pretty much makes all existing gear not needed

I sure can help you there. Short answer, yes. This armor is way stronger than the average piece.

Long answer:

Entire set includes 41 items. For 5 dollars, not bad I say.

The Chevalier's Estate (Warrior Pack Chest:)

So instead of 1 out of every 40 items looted being interesting  I can buy DLC that makes that 1 a 0, no thanks. At least 1 is something to look forward to.

No thanks, already played threw twice and didn't need the stuff. Took the money and bought Dragonage Ultimate Edition to get all the content packs i didn't buy originally. Enjoyed the first one a whole lot better.

The real draw for me would have been new armor for my companions. Battles are easy for me so I don't need more items. If I could put that warrior armor on Aveline or those mage robes on Merrill then I would definitely buy this pack.

I hate how the inventory system works now. I have to throw away dozens of good robes simply because my character can't wear them. I used to love splitting all the best equipment between my companions in Origins

I wouldn't have such a problem with this if they at least announced that there will be story DLC. They don't even have to say who or what it would involve. Just a simple yes or no. It's really not that hard.

Don't get me wrong, I'll probably buy the DLC at some point. Naked lady with a staff up her ass is pretty much incentive enough

Because then they would have to do something possibly productive other than warning us of the terrible atrocities committed by the evil Bioware Corp for a game that they "don't care about."

Shame there's not high-res textures for this DLC. The armor designs are nice but look odd compared to crisp textures of your companions.

I know, they should add that as a disclaimer for the PC downloads.

Or possibly speaking his opinion on a public forum. And after two playthroughs, I kind of have to agree. If this was story DLC, it'd be great, but some new items are not worth another playthrough.

I don't buy item-only DLC, only DLC with some story and extra areas or quests.

I might be interested in an expansion, but so far Bioware DLC has not added enough content to convince me to purchase.

I believe extra items should be added for free to owners of the original game, paid DLC should include playable content as well.

I play on pc but don't use the high texture pack, so it fits in perfectly, aesthetically. New stats change gameplay for some, and a bit of lore. Isabella's blades are lol much. It was worth it.

Seriously Bioware? No problem with DLC per se, but can we get that Bioware polish that still is absent from DA2 I know your hard at work on it, but right now I want DA2 to work probably with be jarred out of the story because of an import bug or with out some quest bug. I will wait until this is the case before buying DLC. Especially a weapon/armor pack.

Bought it and love it. Really cool armor/weapons, and lots of it. I had my hopes up for new companion armor, but it was just necklaces/rings. Definitely worth the money. They all have cool codex stories behind them.

I'll probably get eaten by wolves for this . . but complaining that Bioware wants to make money? Why the heck do you think they made the game? I mean, come ON guys, they are a business.

If you don't want to support their business, then don't. But don't **** and moan that the plumber won't unclog your toilet for free.

BTW, Bioware, nice stuff. I just downloaded and looked over it quickly, but so far, I think it was money worth spending.

I post here because it's on my way when I scroll down to the Mass Effect section of the forums.
