I love design of all new armor sets/weapons, and they have really nice stats. Already purchased.

They're beautiful, though the warrior set is a little bit..... orlesian for my taste :P, should go very nicely with the Lion of Orlais when I do a S&S playthrough though

This new item pack is awesome, It make the campaign even more enjoyable. Great job Bioware

I'd just been lamenting the lack of non-generic cool mage clothing and voila! here it is, and with a nice little lore link to the Hawke family too

Are the items comparable to Act 3 items?

Here are the 2 mage robe stats, 1 is lower level and the other higher.

Thanks!! This is mainly what I wanted to see as I really detest the mage armor options in game. I'll be buying this pack shortly ;). Yes, I'm vain. No, I don't care. Dressing up pixels is half the fun.

How come its $7.00 for 400 bioware points and its only $5 for the whole pack on the PS3?

DA2 needs more story content. I don't want to play dress up with Hawke, I want Hawke to actually matter for once. I don't mean to derail the topic, but the Kirkwall killer impacted the plot more than Hawke did. The freaking Kirkwall killer of all people!

One of the things that burns me about DA2 is that you have no option to keep hunting this killer in all the years that lead up to the final confrontation.  (No spoilers, right?)  Just one of the times when it feels like you're along for the ride.

McAdams if you are unhappy with the product don't give them your money! Telling them to shape up. While continuing to shovel them money for garbage is exactly how we ended up in this mess

I'll pass on this DLC...

Personal game reputation aside - the items look a little Fableish / Final Fantasyish - not my cup of tea.

From what I've seen though the pack price is probably about right for what you get from it. So good for you.

Wow I can't believe companies now days. Trying to milk every dime they can from people charging money for new costumes and armor for a game. Are games going to eventually  end up being  a role playing game you buy but all you get is a dagger and the clothing on your back unless you buy armor though dlc

I could see dlc for extra mission and story along with new armor and weapon but just new armor.

Dear Geezus you're right! Don't know what came over me..

I think I'm feeling a little tired and emotionally fragile at the moment...normal rage posting will resume by the weekend.

Well the price difference is giving me pause ... but I am tempted to get it so I get new items. Let's face it, without the toolset we can only do replacers. I have replaced many of the items myself. And as of now, new textures from the modding community is still low.

But really the fans are doing a way better job than the professional team at Bioware. This surely give Bioware reason to withhold the toolset from the community. That is the ugly truth as I see it.

Each packs contain powerful new weapons and armor for Hawke (per class),  and new items for followers.

I'm guessing this means just the weapons can be equipped by followers and not the armor, right? Ha, that would be too good to be true.

Don't worry.  You'll have alternate appearance packs available for purcharse soon enough.

Mass Effect 2 did the same thing DLC wise.

The difference is that ME2 is great game not unfinished and recycled locations abomination. I have bought two items packs for ME2 and love this game but I'm not gone buy item packs for DA2 when game is in shambles like this.
Besides ME2 had very few items in the begin with and weapon's pack and kestrel armor really added to the game play. In DA2 you have crapload of items anyway, you dont really need any of those items and only thing this item pack does is make your character overpowered and break the game balance.
Very weak Bioware, now go create some actual content for your game that you should have spent few more years developing.

Don't have real interest in buying this, because I am not enjoying DA2, like any other BW game.

We can expect several "Alternative appearance" DLCs in the future.

Nothing is showing up in inventory at all.

It's in three chests at your current residence.

Which residents? In the low town one I presume. it still isn't showing up at all.

400 bioware points is $5.00 plus sales tax. Not sure where you're seeing 7 from. Just doublechecked it before posting this.

If its Act 1 it will be in Gamelin's house. Room on the right when you enter. Where the other DLC chest is. You'll see three new chests in that room.

If its Act 2 or 3 it will be in Hawke's Estate, in the room past Sandal on the left.

If you're not seeing them, doublecheck that you downloaded the DLC properly. If you did, you'll see journal entries telling you about the chests the moment you load a game.

Someone already posted the stats, but here's some concise images for those who want a pretty version.

Entire set includes 41 items. For 5 dollars, not bad I say.
