What are all the items you get?

I'll tell you why you DON'T know what is included: If you did know, you wouldn't buy it. BioWare knows this which is why they haven't posted any details.

hmm there are screenshots from players posted earlier in this thread. They are in-game screens.

You can see the higher level mage suit pictured on the main site. Here's my screenie of the much niftier looking (in my opinion) lower level suit.

Notice that little "Quote" botton? Try using it so we know who and what you are talking about.

Wow. Just WOW.
I mean, who needs to earn powerful items that should be in the game already, why not buy them with real money?
Dear game industry, go $$$$ yourself!

I'll pass on this DLC...

Personal game reputation aside - the items look a little Fableish / Final Fantasyish - not my cup of tea.

From what I've seen though the pack price is probably about right for what you get from it. So good for you.

Damn your right. I just looked at the pics for the armor sets on the official website, they do look like they came from a final fantasy game lol. I wasn't going to buy the DMC anyway since I disliked DA2, but even if I was a person that like the game I would never buy cartoonish lookingarmor like that for a supposed immersive action rpg. Nice call there icinix ;)

I wont lie, I'll probably end up buying it at some point.

But since I put the game down to wait until the patches clear up all the bugs, I think I can continue to wait until the price drop on this DLC comes some random weekend a few months from now.

I kinda want the item pack as a form of compensation for the fact I can't play the game yet. It's only worth about £3, right?

I wouldn't bother with it if I was you, really not worth the money.
I love Dragon Age II but I was sorely disappointed in the Item packs.

I have to admit, that's very attractive.

Well the price difference is giving me pause ... but I am tempted to get it so I get new items. Let's face it, without the toolset we can only do replacers. I have replaced many of the items myself. And as of now, new textures from the modding community is still low.

I think I've seen new items that aren't replacers.

Um, why?

I was never hurting for items when I played DA2, never felt like I was lagging behind in power.

From the descriptions it comes off like a response to Witcher 2's thing, and if it is then I don't think it'll work. Those are technically free.

But whatever, I guess I'd legally rob idiots if I could too. I just wish I could get some mission or Xpack DLC instead.

I like the game but admit that this is frustrating. Why spend time adding more items no one asked for when the dungeons need new graphic textures so badly?

Only the mage ones are worth getting. And they are very good - it's nice to have non-robe stuff to wear. [yes i know the higher levelled set is kind of a robe but it's at least armored and has full fingered gloves]

Hmm, a shame the Warrior Pack comes with two greatswords but no longsword. Also can't say I like the armor design of the promotional warrior's set; too Orlesian. I like how the other two main sets look, though, I'm curious to see what the future will bring.

Probably going to give this one a pass. Some of the armors look okay, but the butt-ugly weapons just make my eyes bleed. The sallet was a nice touch, but should be an option as a warrior helm (with a proper bevor rather than the horrendous crumb-catchers we have now) rather than rogue. Since the weapons are DLC, can't even do a model swap to make them visually acceptable.

Hmmmmz.

At first I was against buying anything like these packs. However, given the stats some items have and the way the lower level mage outfit(amongst other tings) looks... I find myself tempted. To quote GuileBrush; "I guess I'll mull this one over a little bit more. Thanks to the people who posted pics and stats, changed my opinion from a "definitely no thanks" to a "just maybe worth getting."

Could anyone provide a clear(or at least somewhat decent?) picture of the lower level mage outfit on a male Hawke? Curious about it.

Dude, I still think DA2 is a great game. I'm not blind to it's obvious flaws though.
But this Item Pack stunt does kind of re-inforce the hater's hate.
It feels more and more like the Dragon Age franchise is not worth investing in anymore, which is a very sad thing.

It would not be so bad if the game was incredibly hard, and there were not already good armours in the game.....

I just really can't see where these fit in, and what real purpose they serve other than a cash cow from EA.

An Item Pack as DLC for DA2. Just take a look at this interview.

A big focus for us is to make sure we get it right and we make sure it's, honestly, a beefier experience than the Origins DLCs and one that introduces something new to the Dragon Age game.

So an Item Pack priced 400 MSP gives me a "beefier" experience than the Origins DLCs?
