For the mage and rogue (I don't have a warrior play through yet), I think the champion armor is superior as a set though that higher lvl mage helm has some awesome stats. The mage staff has some awesome stats which I equipped to my lvl 24 mage (I can't wait to use it in a DLC as that play through is complete). My rogue is lvl 22 (better than half way through act 3) and I gave her the two new daggers. I had other daggers that had slightly higher damage but the new DLC daggers had some awesome bonuses and stats that make up for the slight downgrade in damage. For my companions, the new ring/amulet has great stats and with most the new weapon was superior or at least equal to what I previously had equipped. Overall, I'd say this DLC provides great gear and items (sort of like the firepower pack in ME2) and is worth the price. I hope some story based DLC comes soon.

Given the pathetic amount of armours in DAII, they've got a lot of nerve charging for more so soon.

Not interested. I would prefer a toolset. I would pay for a toolset, in fact.

This. I would be quite happy to pay for a toolset if it meant we would get it.

So long as it's significantly more user friendly than Origins, I'd probably buy it.  Any toolset release would be fantastic for the modders more talented than myself, though.

You know, I bought (and enjoyed) most of the DLC for Mass Effect 2 and DAO.

After completing DA2, I would sooner flush my money down the toilet than spend another dime on this terrible, rushed, incredibly disappointing game.

It may have already been purchased via your credit card for you. Those hackers can be so helpful sometimes.Posted Image

Bioware, why do you know all the buttons to push to get to my money? Eh, I'll probably pick it up.

You must not have many buttons then and they're cheap. This is a complete waste of money. Make something worth me wasting my time in this samey crap game again and I will think about it.

Here's an idea, if you dont like the items, dont buy them instead of pissing and moaning about it.

If you want to waste your money that's okay, but don't be so shocked when people express incredulity that you would toss good money after bad.

You can say that all you like.  It may shock you however to find out that not everyone hates DA2 lol.  Admittedly, the game has it's flaws.  But its still good.  The point is, if it's a game I like, I'll put money into it.  About the only DLC I probalby wont "invest" in is if they do any "companion specific" DLC.  Like Leliana's Song, THAT was bad DLC IMO.  Only reason I even had it is because it was part of the Ultimate Edition.  I played it once, and immediately uninstalled it.  I'll take item packs over another Leliana's Song any day.

Hmm, and here i was Liking the Leliana  DLC, you clearly haven't played the totally CRAP Darkspawn Cronicles yet,
but anyways i like the rogue armor and weapons in this DLC but plz BW give us some thing that continues the story o

the good thing of this DLC is that it's not just a retxture like the ME2 Appearance packs
or the totally Crap Arrival DLC well... it just can't hold a candle compared to LotSB and i want a Lotsb for DA2 liked the Rogue and Mage armor in this

There is no way I would waste another penny on this game. Also if they already have this armor available it make me think they held it back just so that they could sell it seeing how there is a distinct lack of available armor ingmae,,,

Not good.. in fact immoral.

Worrying BioWare, DA2 was mediocre, could really have done with a decent story-based DLC to save face and try restoring some much needed faith for the series. It's been both a missed opportunity & a nasty trend occurring in BioWare titles since you have pushed for DLC implementation.

Anyone have any sales numbers for the DLC so far? Would certainly be interesting to see how all the whining corresponds to actual "not buying", as I'm quite positive that it doesn't.

That said, I'll buy this as soon as the import bugs are fixed, so I can have a playthrough I can import for the next game.

Shame on you Bioware for making us pay for lowres armors when there are so few in the game to begin with. And look at all the...I really don't have a word for you people paying 5 bucks for virtual low-res stuff during a recession and actually thanking Bioware for it.

Makes this old gamer want to switch hobbies...

Well damn, that warrior armor actually looks really nice.

Eh, none of it looks that great. I think the best one is the Mage suit, and that's nothing you haven't already seen in other games/media.

I might pick this stuff up...but later. I'm in no mood to do another run through DA2 and having a new suit of armor isn't going to change that opinion.

Besides, if it levels with the character and Hawke just magically has these suits...then what's the point of questing or getting money? You have the best suit in the game without trying.

Again, I might pick it up sometime down the road. But not now. And likely not ever.

I won't be purchasing it at the time being simply because I stopped playing the game a few weeks ago. Perhaps when the next patch hits or some story DLC is released I'll pick this up as well.

If DLC isn't worth your money then don't buy it.

Why do complain if Bioware adds something like this but when Valve opens up the Team Fortress 2 trading store where you can buy hats you say it doesn't matter?

If you don't want these items then don't get it...no need to get toxic and rude about it just because your angry at Bioware for rushing what could have been a good game. This isn't directed at everyone, just the people complaining...
