How about you use your "WE MAEK ITEM TIEM 4 MONEY" to work on a sequel that isn't bad?

I would download this in a heartbeat if it included SOME kind of content to get the armor instead of just having it delivered to me. It could be a simple cave with no lore or quests attached that I fight my way through to find in a chest. Even that is more desirable then having new gear mailed straight to my character.

Now if Bioware gave the option of buying directly and then just DL in game like the Exiled prince pack that came with the sig edition I would happily give them my cash happily
But as far as supporting any add on i have to buy through Sony, I am of the opinion that they can forget it. Until there are some serious guarantees of my online safety.

Skinning your customers, for in-game parts, that could've been included, as part-of-storyline.
Be off with yee!!

Anyone have any sales numbers for the DLC so far? Would certainly be interesting to see how all the whining corresponds to actual "not buying", as I'm quite positive that it doesn't..
Funny how anyone who has any issues with the game is "whining", while anyone defending the game is a "fanboy".
Oh no, do not interpret me inaccurately; we all know there are issues with the game, but that was not at all the point. When I said whining I meant only--and exactly--that, whining.
So your whining about people you think are whining?I guess it is ok for you to cry about others because they have different opinions.

Where is my story dlc?
For what it is worth we are continuing to work on story dlc, it's just that these have been pushed back in order to give them the time necessary to properly address not only the feedback from DAO DLC (which was always the plan), but also what we can address (within the limits of DLC) from the post launch DA2 feedback. So basically, these will take time - we'll talk about them officially when we get closer.
Why item packs?
Very simply, these were quite successful in both DAO and ME2 both in terms of sales and also usage data, indicating that the demand is there. So while we get that a lot of our forum users prefer story content (which we also enjoy, hence also working on that), make no mistake that there is indeed an audience out there that loves to customize their characters as well as do their replays with premium gear, so these have a place in our DLC plan. And while I would have loved to have us release a story dlc first, see above for why that was not possible.
Game needs more fixes
We absolutely recognize that there are players that are still running
into issues on DA2. PC patch 1.02 and consoles update 1.01 came out roughly a month after game launch and were the first major patch, delivering over 100 fixes but its not possible for these to address everything.
What they did address was most of the high volume & impact issues we could detect from our gameplay data that players can opt in to send, and that we could execute on quickly - trying to balance effectiveness of the patch for as many players as possible, with timeliness to get it to their hands.
That's not to say we're ignoring everyone else - far from it. We didn't stop there, and the patch team has continued working on other issues as reported by you here and are currently in the process of testing the next major patch, which contains even more fixes than the previous one. The next patch addresses many of the issues that took longer to pin down and thus did not make it into the 1.02/1.01 patch. You can follow that progress (and contribute to it) on the tech forums for the appropriate platform.
Hope that helps,
F.

Yes, we're looking at an update to the HRT pack (or possibly optional second HRT pack download) which will cover the items in these packs.

Fernando, does that mean now that DA2 is out you guys might remake "WitchHunt" which lets face it,
was really awful not only in value for money, but content, storyline and how it was hashed at release.
I think WH needs remaking completely as it still is the most anticipated DLC ever, and failed in a most
complete sense.

No, properly addressing feedback doesn't mean remaking, it means addressing some of the concerns (as in not repeating those shortcomings).

While I am really to trying to gripe, but why not offer something in DLC other than, more weapons and armors for the PC, seriously? There are so many weapons and armors already in the game, that adding anymore, begins to make the junk list look viewable. I am not trying to be ungracious about this, but it doesn't add anything much to the game as it is. How about DLC, where one can adjust the level of their abilities by taking from one to augment that of another, as just one example. Or a DLC that adds the abilty to allow your companions to use more weapons types or wear at least some other amrors. Heck, I would even be happy if a DLC were made where my companions gave me some kind of recognition that I bought some great looking armor they haven't seen yet .
<humor on>
Hawke: I found this for you Isabela, and I thought it may be something to do with the culture of your people.
Isabela: Wow, Hawke, that's very nice of you, but that sexy armor looks so good, that I'd rather just jump your bones right here and now !.
Hawke: Umm, I don't think this is gift is for you afterall, <thinks> *where's Merrill*. Umm, I gotta run.
<humor off>

DAO had Item pack DLCs? I think not. They all had some sort of quest involved. Or maybe you're referring to the feastday DLC?

The original owner of this priceless collection was an Orlesian chevalier who was stabbed in the heart thirteen times. His prized possessions were taken from him at the time of his death, and since then, anyone who has claimed a piece of his stolen property has met a gruesome and untimely end. Each piece of this collection would make a princely gift for a warrior in your company. But would you tempt fate, and risk the wrath of a man murdered in cold blood?
What that really means is that if you wear this armor you will be attacked more often by enemy's as if they havn't already ridden that camel into the ground............

I think it's not relevant to the Item PacksTruthfully I haven't given it a lot of thought - I'm not a huge NFL fan to start with, but also the stanley cup is still in play.

Just remember not to have any re-used areas in all of your DLC's/Expansions.
